The KH-Vids Podcast is back with a great new episode!

This week podcast hosts @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn are joined by @Plums and @Hayabusa to discuss the glitchy mess that is many of the games released this holiday season (the worst offenders being Assassin's Creed Unity and the Halo Master Chief Collection). Citing the strict publisher imposed release dates set on developers, we consider the choice to delay a game or release a day one update, the benefits of betas for online-centric games, why glitches happen, what's owed to players, and the "I want to have it first" culture surrounding gaming.

As per usual we also answer user-submitted questions! @Graxe poses another impossible scenario, @Eric Luna has us consider the impossibilities of the Kingdom Hearts universe, @Plums has us exchange one of our five senses for a superpower, and @Highlandeɼ asks us to assemble a team for the spambot apocalypse.

Finally, we plug some Community News, including this year's Secret Santa, Game of the Month, and @DigitalAtlas 's GoFundMe campaign.

With the release of the original soundtrack for the Kingdom Hearts remasters in Japan today, the 7-Disc OST (containing up to 180 remastered tracks from the series) was then listed in Square-Enix's European store, set to be released on December 15th with a price of €64.99. While there's still no word on a North American release, hopefully this news means that the OST for the HD ReMixes will be available in other places pretty soon. As for all you Kingdom Hearts fans in Europe, this is definitely something you would want to add to your KH collection.

UPDATE: And it looks like the OST was added to the North American Square-Enix music store as well, to be released on the same day with a $79.99 price tag.

Hey all you kingdom hearts kids! Welcome to another year of our Secret Santa event! As you may be aware, DPWolf was our leader and esteemed Head Santa, spreading cherry and merriment throughout the nice kids, while punishing the bad with coal (and fire). However, Wolfie's passed the torch and reins of the sleigh onto me, and I intend to do my best to honor the tradition she started.

❄ WHAT IS SECRET SANTA
Secret Santa is an event we host every year, in which you guys sign up and get to make presents for each other for the holiday season! Previous Secret Santa threads may be found by clicking the following hyperlinks:


❄ PRESENTS
Presents are anything that you can make online and send to the person.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Artwork
• AMVs
• Signatures/Avatars
• Writing (Poems, Stories)
• Pictures
• Other things of this nature

You can make one big present, or do a bunch of small ones. But please, don't wait till the last minute and throw one little avatar together. You're expected to both give and receive, so make something you would be happy to receive in turn. On Christmas Day (December 25th), I will make a thread in which you can post your gifts for the person you're paired with. If for some reason you are unable to do it this day, you can send it in a message to your assigned member early, or, alternatively, have until New Year's Day (January 1st) to post it.

❄ RULES

• Digital presents only! This means nothing of monetary value, such as online giftcards and the like. LIKES ARE NOT A GIFT.
• Keep it appropriate for KHV, if you need some help with that either look at the rules or message me.
• Signups will go from today until Friday, November 28th.
  
• If you sign up, you can’t back out once everyone is paired up (extreme cases permitting).
• Gifts will be given on Christmas Day, but let me know in advance if you know you’re going somewhere so I can let your Secret Santa know when the best time to exchange gifts would be ahead of time.
• In order to participate, you need to be an active member for at least a month, OR have 30-50 posts INCLUDING posts in areas without post count. This is just to make sure that you are an active member and won’t disappear on your Secret Santa.

As the title states, the Official Kingdom Hearts Youtube Page has uploaded a video set in the Square Enix Headquarters in Europe.

The video does not only show everything in the Collector's Edition, but also shows a few pages of the 2.5 Art Book.

After taking the last week off, your podcast hosts @Misty and @libregkd are joined by @Calxiyn and @Peace and War to celebrate the recently passed N7 Day, a special celebration of all things Mass Effect!

Before we kick into that, we address some changes coming to the podcast -- namely noting the departure of our host @Llave from the team, and how we'll be filling his seat, as well as some schedule changes for the coming weeks. We also discuss some Kingdom Hearts news, the most important of which is the announcement of the new Kingdom Hearts Collector's Edition pack with Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5.

From there we geek out about Mass Effect -- be warned, spoilers are rampant! We cover what's been announced thus far about the next entry in the Mass Effect series and what we want to see in it, the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition and how that will affect Mass Effect, BioWare's in-progress Shadow Realms project, the ending of Mass Effect 3, the possibility of a Mass Effect trilogy remaster, and more! As expected, @Misty waxes poetic over Knights of the Old Republic and her Liara love affair.

We go a bit over time with Mass Effect, but stick around for some quick user-submitted questions! @Graxe conducts an insect survey, @Plums commits Question Fraud, and we pull out Table Topics once again!
