Random: I went downstairs to get something and my parents were watching the news and there was this dude dressed up as Ichigo and he was all like "I told my friends if I died to bury me in this" OMG... someone wants to be a soul reaper. and I started ranting on how dorky he was and how he wouldn't become a soul reaper and he was a sorry excuse for an ichigo

my mom's reacoton: "Ok... weirod. Don't be like him"

Dad: 'So THAT'S the dude named after a starwberry!'

You gotta love my dad XP

then it hit me a couple of minutes ago: WHY IN THE WORLD IS THERE A DUDE DRESSED UP AS ICHIGO ON THE NEWS!?!?!?!

I shall never know now cuz I'm slow...

And then the 'death song' from bleach the musical popped in my head and I cracked up really hard and my parents just started stareing at me. XP

OH! I found out why there was a dude dressed up as Ichingo on the news!! I went to the news programeing and there was a con at Illionis Centrel College (i live in IL)

Star Trek Convention Goers move over. Hundreds of people flocked to Illinois Central College in East Peoria in support of the second annual Anime convention.

"I am Kimani from the anime Full Metal Panic," Anime Lover Erin Greer says.

"I am Aizen from Bleach he is a death God," Fellow Anime Lover Tanner Smith says.

Here in ICC's technology center, lovers of anime are coming together to enjoy their passion as one. And most put some long, hard work into these outfits.

"Some people will even slave years on their costumes," Brianno Laredo from ICC's Fanimen Club says.

"I de-tasseled this summer with Erin just to get this outfit and that was really hard," Anime Lover Laura Kammermann says.

16-year-old Tanner Smith sleeps, eats and breaths anime. And he has since he was kid. But, he does admit there's been a few skeptics he's come across that don't quite get it.

"There are people who won't pick up on it who say oh it's stupid then you have those like me who worship it," Smith says.

Tanner Smith isn't alone in bowing down to the world of anime.

"I think it's fun and you see all these people here and there into the same thing as you," Greer says.

Tanner's dedication may just go beyond this lifetime.

"I told my friends if I were to die, I want to be buried in this," Smith says.

It probably was. It was on the a station that goes everywhere (except chicago cuz chicagos TOO cool to get it) in IL...

 

wat a lame anime fan....even if u dont want to die your hair, get a wig or something....

We go to chicago a lot and I HATE it how we don't have our station but we go like 5 hours away somewhere else and have it and it's like 'that's not right!'

 

oh lol well i dont watch the news anyways...niether do my parents XD
