yeah - i tried overlapping but my computer slows it down A TON
and how do i get rid of the audio from the clip

 

Select the audio and hit delete. XD;

 

Yeah and just so you know when watching your vid. in the preview screen it can slow down a bit since i has a lot of stuff going on.
And for getting rid of audio....well what I do is get your audio from the clip and drag it down to the track below it. Then right click on it and go down to switches(which should open another things of things you can click) and then click on mute.
Got it?

 

I seriesly have ADD right now - i can not concentrate on one thing xD
ok i try deleateing the audio - but it deleates the clip too D=

 

You have to tell it to ignore event grouping -- Along the top (Not as high as the file - edit - etc. menus but below it), I believe somewhere in the middle, there should be a picture of an open padlock with some boxes behind it -- click that, or hit Ctrl + Shift + U, and try again. See if that works. x.x;

 

I found a mute buttion - that worked ^^

well....lets start out with getting a effect.
On the right side of the clip (Once it's in the video track) there should be something you can click that should pop up the many effects you can choose from.
If you got that part down....choose the black and white effect

 

i've been working with cookie cutter - but black and white it is!

 

yeah the cookie cutter is like one of my favorite effects lol
But yeah once you have the effects set in a thing should pop up.
On the bottom of it should have like...a track thing. And if you want to you can click a random place on it and on the real video track you can see your line (The thing showing where you want to cut ect. is)
So what you do is click on the spot...and since we have black and white....lets go to the end of the bar thing and bring your black and white the the maximm
