It has been said that Skyward Sword takes place before Ocarina of Time, and covers the creation of the Master Sword, so I have to assume that it's some kind of prequel.

I'm really looking forward to this game.

    Can't wait.
I love that Wii Motion Plus will further influence the direction of attacks.
The Legend of Zelda has grown so much... <3

i like the idea of Wii Motion Plus, i just hope they don't do it in a way that will cause my arm to get tired after just a few minutes. i remember i could never get through Red Steel 2 because my arm would always get tired too quickly.

I'm really looking forward to this game, it's going to be amazing..hopefully...
However, is the Wii Motion Plus necessary? If it is then I'll be out of luck >.>

The graphics were bizarre to me at first...
But then I started to see them as more than an outdated form of art, and began to LOVE it.
And I also read a ten-page report on the history of Zelda, making me love it more than I had before.

Been playing this for the past few hours and am loving every bit of it! I love what Nintendo have done with it; the characters, the world, the story are all fantastic. The Wii motion plus works surprisingly well. It adds a lot to the game play and Nintendo have clearly thought it through. I'm actually really excited to complete this game. I've been completely drawn into the story! It's a shame that this is the last (and one of the few) genuinely great games for the wii.

P.S Zelda and Link are uber cute together in this game. I love Zelda's character so much!

Why isn't there more discussion of this game? D:

I beat the game about a week after it came out, and I honestly have to say, it was a masterpiece. Fantastic environments, creative level design, absolutely beautiful music, and a very compelling story.

I'm probably going to work through Hero Mode during the Christmas break.

How did you guys get past the Hero's Song Glitch if you did?

You mean where you're supposed to get the three song parts?

If I recall correctly, if you go to the Lanayru part first, and you talk to the dragon AFTER you get the part, you can't progress through the game. If you've saved after you talked to him, you're basically screwed and have to start the game over.

I just got the song parts from Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru in that order, so I never had to deal with the glitch.

You know what, you guys are starting to convince me that this game is worth dusting my Wii off. Just that damn Wiimote attachment is pretty costly for only one game. Maybe in the after Christmas sales?

You could pick up the special edition of Skyward Sword that comes with a golden Wii Remote with built in MotionPlus. It's a pretty good deal in my opinion. Plus it's golden.

If you already activated the glitch you can't resolve it.

But this is what I did (before learning about the glitch): Beat all of Lanaryu Desert not talking to the Goron in the cave (didn't really care enough to see what he had to say anyway), then went to Sealed Temple/the now-flooded forest, then the volcano. As long as you don't talk to the Goron after finishing Lanaryu, you should be fine.

And Scruffy is right. If you do Lanaryu last it won't even matter. lol
