No Yu-Gi-Oh! until Thursday, September 26 because they're showing The Legend of Korra Book I in the 5:30 PM time slot, which is Yu-Gi-Oh!'s time slot. :(

While I like The Legend of Korra, couldn't they have kept it at 4:30 PM after Avatar: The Last Airbender at 4:00 PM? Now they've got two Avatar: The Last Airbender. 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM and 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM.

YGO doesn't belong on Nick anyway.

Meh, I'll probably binge on Korra in two months when most of Book II is out.

And Yu-Gi-Oh! is old + probably on Youtube. Just go find it there.

It's not on Nick, it's on Nicktoons, and it's after Digimon at 5:00 PM!

    And take that back!

I hope you're talking about dem original Duel Monsters.

I'm not a sub-enthusiast, but Japanese dub > English dub. Although, I do occasionally watch the English for nostalgia purposes (and some lovely Yugi/Yami and Joey voice overs whose actors escape my mind for a moment).

Those voice actors would be Dan Green and Wayne Grayson.

You reminded me how terribly sad it is that Dan Green is more famous for YGO than he is for NATHAT.

DM is good dubbed for nostalgia reasons, mostly, but at least it's bearable. 5Ds was also vaguely decent.
GX, however (which as many know is my favorite), was completely trashed by 4Kids. The plot was destroyed, the characters were dumbed down to a ridiculous degree, the voice acting was meh at best, and they completely ignored season 4 (which is admittedly a bit of a mindf*ck of a season) and what do you mean I'm bitter. Zexal didn't fare much better in the dubbing department.

Nine times out of ten, your better off just watching subs for this one.

Fearless describes the dubs really well. I couldn't stand most of GX, and the dub cut out the ENTIRE LAST SEASON, so we didn't even know what happened at the end. Also the animation in general for that anime wasn't that good, even compared to Duel Monsters.

Yeah, pretty much. Although it's sad that one of the more easily accessible subs is the Hong Kong bootleg (which at least got better in the filler seasons but still preeetty unintentionally hilarious to read).

I think the Bonds Beyond Time Movie had a surprisingly good treatment in terms of dubbing, so I'll at least watch that in English.

Also, never even bothered with GX, 5D's or even Zexal. The card games got a little too much for my tastes lol.

I personally think up through GX is the best. I've never seen 5Ds, but I've seen Zexal in commercials, and I don't like it.

Bonds Beyond Time was probably the best thing YGO ever did in english. I love that movie so much. <3

Yea, admittedly the card games do get more and more complicated. I play the game in real life, so it's pretty easy to keep up for me, but I can see where that would put you off a bit. Still, the story is where it's at.

GX is my baby. 5Ds is great but the 'card games on motorcycles' joke got real old real quick.
Don't judge Zexal based on commercials, especially the dubbed ones. Like I said, subbed is where it's at with this one. At least give it a chance before you say you don't like something.

I could never watch Zexal's dub. It's just...how can anyone take that voice seriously?

But one thing I've always hated was that the shows don't follow the game's rules (like what cards do and how quickly they can work and stuff like that), though I guess it's cause of newer cards coming out after the show airs?
