Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds: Mark of the Knights

Luna dragged Shinji into a alley as a black mist appeared and wondered what was happening.

 

Shinji felt the pulled and followed Luna as he listened, monkey soilders were appearing and holding those staffs as they begun to search the area. "Monkeys?" he thought to himself

 

Luna stared at them when her Deck began to glow, she whispered, 'The spirits in my cards are scared.........'

 

Shinji was about to say something but townspeopel came running past the alley and monkeys following as one spots them. "Not good!" he immediately thought to himself as he noticed light emit from Luna's deck as Kuribon, Sunlight Unicorn and Sunny Pixie ran and the monkey followed as Shinji watched the said monsters become tablets but with negative levels.

"If that happens to us...!" he thought as another Monkey spotted tham he grabbed Luna and lifted her in his arm while breaking into a run as he took notice of the reflectiosn on windows being reversed but soon came to a dead end. "Damn!" he thought to himself but ntocied a stone lining opened as a spirit peered out and waved it's hand as Shinji climbed in with luna in arms as the lining was palced on.

The soldiers soon moved away as the three emerged from the hole, the spirit was a child with an oversized hat and too big a staff. "You shouldn't be entering this world you two, if I wasn't here, you'd be caught." He remarked as Shinji pointed out something.

"Your just a child." He responded and placed Luna down as the spirit huffed. "I'm Torunka and I'm really old you know." He said confidently as Shinji sweatdropped when they hid in a building. "This town is very deserted though, what happened?" He asked, jumping to the incident right away.

"It wasn't always like this, Spellcaster spirits lived and thrived in this town, helping each other out but because of the Minus Curse, they are turned into children or stone tablets in which those evil beings suddenly appeared and use Minus Curse and the Cursed Needle." Torunka answered.

 

"Torunka, Ancient Fairy Dragon sent us here to find Regulus." Luna told him, revealing her Sign to him.

 

"Regulus? How do you know-" He noticed her mark. "A Signer? Wait, two Signers?" He asked as Shinji smiled. "Well, Luna's a Signer and I'm a Knight." He said, pulling hsi sleeve up to show his blue mark. "Well...Regulus isn't his usual self, he's growling at people who approach him, maybe he's troubled he couldn't save Ancient Fairy Dragon." Torunka said

"Even so, we're here to find him and have him aid us, where is he now?" Shinji asked him as he bent down on eye level with the mage. "In the forest, but I can't take you there..." He said, objecting as Shinji sighed. "Look Torunka, you are perhaps one of few who can help us since it seems mostly likely every spirit in town is captured, so, like it or not, you have to lead us to him." Shinji explained as Torunka sighed. "Fine, but you and Luna have to look out for me as well."

"If that's all we need to argee on, show us the way." SHinji said as Torunka sighed and quietly lead them out of town.

 

Luna looked and hoped none of the monkeys saw them.

 

"Torunka, where do the spirits go after being captured by those staffs?" SHinji brought up as Torunka walked ahead. "They go to Zeman's castle I guess." He answered.

"Zeman?" SHinji asked as the mage nodded. "He's the monkey's leader, but the truth is, we don't know where he came from or what his true intentions are...now let me ask you two a question, are you strong?" He asked as Shinji thought about it. "Does only strength matter?" He responsed.

"Well, you two say your going to save Ancient Fairy Dragon but why? What drives you?" Torunka asked as Shinji rubbed his own hair. "Do I need a reason to help someone?" He simply answered.

 

"My strength comes from the people close to me." Luna said, smiling as she thought about Yusei, her brother, Akiza, Jack, and the others.

 

"Well...we're here." Torunka said as they were in a dark part of the forest.

Zeman threw a staff through a portal. "Ancient Fairy Dragon! I demand to have your power!" Zeman yelled but the staff broke as he slammed his fist on a table. "Then I must capture more spirits and Regulus if I hope to succed!"

 

"Regulus, where are you?!" Luna started to shout for the duel spirit.

 

"Don't call for him!" Torunka said as Shinji looked around as soon, Regulus appeared. "That's him!" Torunka said a bit frightened at the white lion.

"This is Regulus?" Shinji asked aloud as the white lion spoke. "I am Regulus you demon!" the lion said and Shinji's eyes widened. "I'm human though." He said as Regulus shook his head. "You're not a human!" He said growling.

 

"Shinji! Torunka! Look at his foot!" Luna shouted, pointing to the left back paw.

 

"A staff?" Shinji whispered as Regulus pounced at him and Shinji dived to the side. "That was too close for comfort." he said and noticed a nearby staff. "Luna, grab the staff, if we use it on his own, we might cancel it's effects!" He said and saw Regulus come back. "If he hears the opposite of what we say then..." SHinji thought as he rolled to the side. "You do want to do this!?" He asked Regulus.

"Of course I do! I'll do anything to protect Ancient Fairy Dragon, even if it costs me my life!" Regulus proudly announced as Shinji had respect for this lion, even though he was thinking opposite of what people say as Regulus came running at him. "Whoa!" Shinji avoided the charge. "If I had my deck, my monsters would appear by themselves like Luna's but they were left behind!"

 

Luna went after the staff and tried to twist the needle on it, hoping it would work.

 

Regulus blinked as Shinji sighed in relief. "Where am I?" Regulus asked as the staff was removed. "We were about to become your lunch!" Torunka said as Regulus thought back.

"I apologize, but the girl I've been waiting for, Luna, has arrived, I summoned you to this world with what available power I had left, although you..." Regulus turned his attention to Shinji. "I didn't summon you, how is it possible, are you a Signer too?"

"I'm afraid not, I touched Luna's hand while you were summoning her and I guess Luna's Mark or my own helped manage the summoning to us both." SHinji said and Regulus looked at him. "A non-Signer but you bear a Mark?" he asked as Shinji pulled his sleeve, showing it.

"A Mark of the Knights!?" He said in surprise as Shinji nodded. "Yeah, I'm one of the three Duelists chosen." he answered as Regulus's eyes narrowed a bit. "So, they've been unsealed once again, tell me young man, do you plan on using a Knight for war?" He asked seriously as SHinji looked at him.

"Me, use Wisel as a tool of war? Never, I use him to help protect others." Shinji said as he stood up to dust himself off. "I see...very well, I suggest we all break into Zeman's castle then, if we defeat him, the Minus Curse may be stopped."

 

Luna nodded. "Where is Zeman's castle? Can you take us there?"

 

"Ride on my back and I shall take you there." Regulus offfer as they did so, surprisingly, Regulus could move fast with three people on board.

Zeman was begining a ritual as a blast of light as it reached into the sky.

"The sky!" regulus announced and stopped to look at it. as Shinji saw the sun have a huge Cursed Needle as it slowly turned, the skies becoming dark as the trees and grass turn into a wasteland. "Ah!" Torunka said, surprisely sounding different. "We're slowly de-aging too!" he said as Shinji looked at them, Luna did look smaller and the hat of Torunka's was getting biig as Shinji could feel his clothes seemed to have more space than he remembered.

"If we do not hurry, you'll all becoem babies and perhaps disappear forever!" Regulus stated and ran onwards

 

Luna simply prayed to Leo to give her to defeat Zeman.

 

Devack spoke. "My Zeman gains 500 ATK due to Closed Forest, as I'll attack your Power Tool Dragon." Devack commanded as Leo sent Break Draw! to the graveyeard, "I send my Break Draw! to the graveyard to save my dragon!" Leo said as Devack spoke. "You still take damage." Devack said as Power Tool hovered in frotn fo Leo to protect him as Leo was surprised. "If you protect me, then I'll protect Luna!"

Leo - 2500

"I set two facedowns and end my turn." Devack spoke as he did so.


"I draw, then I use Power Tool's effect! Select a card!" Leo called out as Devack spoke. "Left." Leo added it to his hand. "I equip Megamorph to Power Tool Dragon!" Leo said and checked it's ATK. "What, it's not going up!?" He exclaimed.

"That's simple child, we have the same amount of Life points so, no power boost." Devack just asnwered as leo was starting to break down. "My plan's ruined." he said and Devack smiled. "Looks lile fate is not smiling upon a non-Signer."

"Leo! Believe in your cards and they'll answer you back!" Yusei shouted down as Leo nodded. "Right! I switch Power Tool Dragon into Defense Mode end my turn!" Leo stated as Devack spoke. "Shadow Duels cannot be won by mere defense. I draw and attack Power Tool Dragon with Zeman."

"Go right ahead, I can just negate it's destruction!" Leo said as Devack pressed a button. "True but my Roaring Earth trap card can inflict piercing damage so you lose 500 life points boy." Devack stated as some chunks of Power Tool fell.


"I'll set one card and end, your dragon and yourself are falling apart like a broken toy." Devack stated
