Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds: Mark of the Knights

Leo looked around. "I don't hear anyone." He said in response.

 

"I think it's from the Duel Monster Spirit World........" Luna said, staring at the spirit of her favorite duel monster.

 

"You mean like...Ancient Fairy Dragon?" Leo asked as Trudge was confused. "What are you kids talking about?" he asked as Leo looked at him. "Well, Luna can talk to Duel Monsters in the Spirit World." he said and Trudge grunted. "I think you been reading too many books kid."

Shinji listened on the conversation. "Spirit World? I suppose that is possible, The Ancient Knight is a being that not humans knows about, the same goes for the Crimsion Dragon and the ones who bear the marks." He thought to himself.

 

"Is something going on in the Duel Monster Spirit World?" Luna asked Kuribon, it began to bounce, answering her question. "I have..... to go to the Spirit World......" she whispered softly.

 

"Who is she talking to?" Trudge asked as he looked in the mirror as Shinji noticed some lights coming from Luna's Duel Disk and he quickly moved, touching Luna's hand as his mark glowed blue and then a flash of light erupted as Trudge lost control briefly and stopped as the back seats were empty, just leaving two Duel Disks with the decks still within them.

"They must of fallen out of the car since that's more likely." Trudge reasoned wiith leo after an arguement as they searched and Leo found a picture of a monkey but then heard someone's voice. "You have arrived, Signer." Devack's voice sounded as the purple geoglyph of the Monkey took form.

 

"Akiza, look!" Angel shouted, looking at the sky. Akiza gasped at the geoglyph.

Luna woke up and found herself and Shinji in a forest. Kuribon was nearby, Luna looked in the distance, staring at a large rock, with a image of Ancient Fairy Dragon.

 

Takeshi looked up, as well. It was a similar mark as the giant spider, but this one was in the shape of a monkey.

 

Jack looked up. "So it's began!" Jack said as he continued on.

Yusei noticed the flash and immediately changed direction, heading for that area.

"You aren't a Signer...who are you?" Devack asked a she stepped forward and Leo turned arouud. "I'm here to protect Luna of course!" He stated as Devack spoke. "You're foolish to enter here despite not being a Signer, do you wish to die?" He asked as Trudge heard this when he approached it. "I'll beat you so Luna won't have to face the danger!" Leo said bravely

Devack looked at him. "I acknowledge your bravery boy but a Non-Signer cannot defeat me, I shall accept your challenge." he said as the Duel began.

Yusei soon arrived as Trudge looked at him. "I came here when i saw the light, what happened?" He asked as Trudge spoke. "Shinji and Luna vanished within it, the kid said something about Spirit World." He explained as Yusei thought about it. "Then Luna must of gone there to free Ancient Fairy Dragon but Shinji, I didn't think he'd be able to travel there too."

Trudge stared at him. "What you believe that too?" He asked as if Yusei was crazy. "I won't bicker over this, we should stop this duel..." Yusei said and shouted down. "Stop this Duel!" he cried out as Devack stared at him from where he stood. "Once a Shadow Duel has started, ti cannot be stopped until the end." He stated.

Shinji moved and he sat up. "Wher-" He started to say but he stopepd himself. "So this is the Spirit World?" He said without thinking as he stood up, noticing Kuribon, he looked at himself. "My deck and disk was left behind...then how did I get here?" He thought to himself and looked at his arm. "Could the Mark have done this when I touched her hand?" he wondered to himself, he never even heard of the Spirit World or voices before but here he was, it seemed only Luna could do this.

 

"Shinji, I think we have to save Ancient Fairy Dragon." Luna said, turning to him.

 

"We?" He asked her and looked ahead as he thought about it a moment. "Well, if that's what the Spirit World brought us here for then I'll help, besides, I didn't even know this place existed." He said honestly.

 

"I've been here before when I was very little." Luna said, "I could always hear Duel Spirit ever since I was born."

 

"I see, Luna." He smiled at her. "So, I suppose ought to make a start." He answered her.

Leo drawn his card and smiled. "I summon Morphtronic Magnen and set one facedown card!" Leo called out



"I'll summon out my second magnen and create a lock!" Leo grinned in his thoughts. "Leo, you should find a way out!" Yusei called out but Leo shook his head. "No way! I'm gonna protect Luna from this guy!"

Devack drawn his next card and looked at it. "I summon Ape Magician in attack mode and use it's effect, once per turn, if this card is in face-up Attack Position, I can send 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard and select 1 face-up Defense Position monster your opponent controls, so I discard another Ape Magician to do so."


Leo was in shock. "Oh no, that means...!" leo said and Devack stared at him. "I attack you directly with my Ape Magician, dealing 800 points of damage." He stated a sthe attack connected and leo screams as he felt real pain and steam came from the attack.

"Shadow duel's inflict real pain, I'll try to send you to the Netherworld without too much pain." Devack calmly said as Yusei and trudge watched with worried expressions. "I end my turn, but surrendering is an option available to you." he said to him.

"I think I see a town. Lets get going." Luna started to walk with Kuribon, remembering Ancient Fairy Dragon told her to meet with Regulus.

 

"Right Luna." He said and walked beside her.

Leo drawn his next card. "I'll refuse! I summon out another Magnen in defense mode and switch my second one in the same position and one face down again! Now you cannot attack me, you are magnen-locked!" Leo excliamed as Devack drawn his card.

"Hmm, I discard Fighter Ape to take control of your little toy and tribute it for a Fighter Ape in my hand." Devack said


"I'll attack your Magnen with Ape Fighter." Devack ordered as leo grinned. "Activate facedown card, Remake Puzzle!"


"I tribute my Magnen to negate the attack then I can special summon out a Morphtronic Monster with a level that's lower than the one it destoryed, so I choose my Magnen in defense mode!"

"I end my turn." Devack answered as Leo drawn his next card. "I summon out Morphtronic Celfon in attack mode and activate his effect, I roll a die and the I roll, i pick up that many cards and if there's a Morphtronic, I can special summon it!" Leo called otu as the numbers beeped on the phone and stopped on 3. "I pick up three cars...let's see -he checked them, the first two were Junk Box, factory of 100 Machines and Morphtronic Remoten. "I Special summon Remoten!"



"Now I'll activate Level Mirroring from my hand! I change my magnen bar to Level 3 thanks your Ape!"


"Now I'll tune Level 3 Remoten, level 3 Magnen and Level 1 Celfon! Docking strength with courage to protect the world's peace! Synchro Summon! Envoy of love and justice, Power Tool Dragon!"

"I activate the Effect and add 3 equip cards to my hand, you select one and I keep that card while the other two return to my deck!" Leo said as Devack stared. "The middle card."

"I add Break Draw! to my hand and equip it to Power Tool, now whenever he destorys a monster, I can draw one card!"


"I attack magician ape with Power Tool, go!" leo commanded as the attack connected, reducing Devack's life points to 2500 as Leo drawn another card. "I end my turn!"

"Sorry to get you involved in this, Shinji." Luna said.

 

OOC: To all, I know Ape Fighter is Level 4 but bear with me, this is following from the anime so don't say, you can't tribute a for a Level 4 monster, in the anime, it's 5.

Shinji smiled and given Luna a side hug. "It's not your fault, I only reacted when I noticed the lights." He said honestly and looked at her. "So don't worry, I'll help you and protect you." He said as he rubbed behind his hair sheepishly.

Devack drawn his next card and laughed. "For sucha minor duelist, you are so determined in this battle of fate." He said as leo glared at him. "I'm risking my life in this duel!" Leo stated as Devack looked at him. "Then I'll offer this duel to the Gods." He said

"Is he going to summon his Immortal?" Yusei asked worringly.

"I summon the Dark Tuner, Dark Ape and activate the Spell, Dark Wave and turn Ape Fighter into -5." Devack explained.



"A Dark Synchro Summon!?" Yusei said with worry as Devack outstrenched his arms ""When the shadows are devoured by even darker shadows, the curtain pulls back and reveals a world without light! Come forth, Zeman the Ape King and I draw 1 card to Dark Ape's effect."

"As long as I have Power Tool Dragon, I have nothing to fear!" Leo said proudly as Devack pulled out a card from his hand. "I play the field spell, Closed Forest."

Luna smiled and followed Kuribon's spirit to the town.

 

Shinji immediately took note of the town, there were staffs in the ground and the town was quiet. "Is it me...or is the town empty." He said concerned.

 

Luna tried to look around for a sign of any townspeople, but all the spirits were hiding from something.

 

Shinji took notice of leaves going up and reconnecting to a tree. "It's...backwards?" He asked to himself confused and noticed another staff. "Could it be...these?" He thought to himself.
