youtube changed their design and centered everything.

discuss, complain, etc etc

i was just thinking last night that they should center the videos on the page, and now they finally did. yay.

 

I hate it with a great passion. Only because I like to have a skype window open on the right, and the video on the left, like it used to be. smh YouTube​

This is the first Youtube redesign I've liked in quite a while, videos aren't centered on my end though, so thank goodness.

 

Mwerp, I agree with this statement. I do enjoy the centered, cleaner look but I'm a multitasker when it comes to youtube and this will be a toughie now. I feel the procrastination coming.

 

I don't use youtube enough to notice these things.

 

I see no difference in the things being centered but it's totally messed with my favourites. I have had the account for a long while and accumulated over 400 videos in my favourites and now it's cut it off as the most recent 100. It also is a real pain in adding something to favourites- I tried adding this one video the normal way and the next time I looked, it hadn't been added so I found and added it again, no change. I finally found a button on my favourites playlist that said "add video" which I did and it was added but it just feels much more awkward. Unless it's just my computer.

 

I like the YouTube app, it makes me feel more stable.

 

I sometimes think Youtube is intent on breaking all the dark Stylish options I like.

 

I just wonder why YouTube insists on f*cking sh*t up every few months. They're so damn worried about the layout that they ignore actual bugs and issues.

i don't give a crap about the new layout, it looks similar enough to the old one that I won't get lost so I'll take it I guess.

 

As far as I know, there aren't any bugs currently present on the site.

You mean like the fact they have bots verifying the flagged video reports? Like perfectly innocent accounts are being effectively silenced because there is not human thought behind the action.

Oh I don't see anything wrong there.

 

I wouldn't exactly call that a bug, but bad management of reported content.

though when i multitask, i usually open the video in another window, make it just big enough to fit the player and move it someplace comfortable

and the constant updates are beyond ridiculous at this point
