YouTube Uploading

I made an AMV using Sony Vegas Pro 8, but I tried uploading it to YouTube. Unfortunately, it refuses to work. When I upload it, it says "Upload Successful," but it says afterwards the video says "Video Unavailable." Anyone know what the problem is?

It has to finish processing. It takes some time... sometimes a long time.

 

dose it say that on the screen where the vid should be?

 

hmmm that depends what kinda file is your video I mean it sometimes happens to me on dailymotion but that's because I made to much videos about it but it doesn't have to say it was copyrighted or it has wierd stuff any way was it done encoding

 

I'll try it again and give it a day to upload. If it doesn't work, there's something wrong.

No it doesn't say where it should be.

it always got something to do with that,I got that kind of trouble too,

 

if all else fails save it as a WMV, trust me it works.

 

IS this your first amv that you have uploaded?

 

after uploading the video needs some time to process. after that, it will be avialable to be watched. sometimes this can take an hour or an entire day. it varies so just give it some time.

 

Okay, I just uploaded it. How long should it take? It's only 4 min long.

 

Not to burst your bubble, but it usually takes me an hour at the MOST >.>

 

u know u can make a onetruemedia user they actually let u upload your videos on youtube or something like well u can find out if u try :)

 

if you go to My Videos and in the video info it will say either: 'processig(please wait)' or 'Live!' it should say that over the buttons that say 'play' 'edit' and all those, if it says anything diffrent, you need to try a diffrent file type.

 

i don't know if the length would matter but it could take an entire day. that's happned to me before when i uploaded my code videos.

not for me. it's taken almost a whole day for it to finsh processing quite a few times.

 

The time says 0:00. Is that normal?

Just keep on trying dude (u must think I'm a skater or something) It's taken me A long time to upload a video

 

try a difrent file type. save it as an MPEG-1
