I don't know what it is, but I've been having an issue of uploading any video onto youtube lately. It says it's uploading, but the bar stays at 0% for 30 minutes and still nothing happens. I use the Basic Uploader as well, and nothing happens then as well. Is there something wrong with my computer that's doing it? Or is it something on youtube as well? Because weren't these videos uploading in seconds before?
You may have the video you want to upload in a format that youtube may not recognize, or the size of the file is too large. It has been eons since I have last uploaded a video there. Would you mind posting the specifics of the video file?
It's just a .avi file that 53.4MB. But I've uploaded videos that size as well and it's gone by in seconds. I don't even get why the progress bar doesn't even change I have no idea how to take a speed test, so I can't tell you the results
That should be fine for uploading on YouTube. Could you try the same file from a different computer? Or same computer, different file?
Well, I can't try it on another computer since I don't have any free space on my flash drive to save it and then upload it from something else, and I did try different files on youtube to see if there was a difference, but it's always doing the exact same thing
It's happened with Firefox as well. In fact, it's one of the main reasons I switched to Chrome...although I guess I could try again with another video to see if there's any change.
