Youtube is ruined

I'll be sure to link this thead when there is another update and people say that this current version is superior to the new one.

I'm sure that the government will put this at the top of their list, just right before the one for building a Death Star.

 

I'm not the biggest fan of the update, but it's not going to stop me from using it.
Only real problem I see with it is the removal of character limits.
That spam...

 

WAIT SO I CAN BLOCK THE MINDLESS IGNORANCE AND SHITSTORM THAT IS A YOUTUBE COMMENT SECTION? I NO LONGER HAVE TO SEE "_____ SENT ME HERE" ON EVERY VIDEO I CLICK?!?!? I THINK THIS IS THE BEST THING GOOGLE HAS DONE SINCE THEY INVENTED GOOGLE. HOW DO I APPLY THIS TO KHV?

i mean, the only thing we go on youtube for is kingdom hearts music videos. it's still 2007, right guys?

I just hated the fact they made me a google+ account without my permission, I don't want a google+ account ;-; and now I have people adding me on it! I'm like Nuuu! Go away D: I don't want this account!

And youtube constantly asking me whether I would like to use my Youtube name or my actual name... I chose my youtube name for a reason and I would like to keep it that way! >:3

 

^ This. And they keep asking me whether I want to use my real name or not, no matter how many times I tell them to go get stuffed in Greece. They even keep asking me my phone number. WTF ?!? Why don' t they distribute "call Patrice X at 06xxxxxxxx for free money" flyers all across the country while they' re at it ?

Bleh, I don' t bother signing in anymore unless I' m trying to access mature rated content. Most comments made me feel like I was back in the kindergarten schoolyard anyway.

 

Agreed with Enzy & Patman. I appreciate their attempts to have "an account for everything" type thing (less passwords to deal with in the long run), but at the same time, not everyone is really ready for or even wants that yet. At least, not in the form that Google's doing it where your forced to have everything linked and given things you may not want in the least.

 

Youtube is slowly turning into google+. Soon they wil merge those 2 sites together

Make an account for kh-vids on dailymotion. They dont look for copyrighted stuff yet

You do realize that they're only doing this type of consolidation of accounts, voluntary or not, so that it's easier and more cost efficient to keep tabs on you and track you, so they can sell your information to advertisers or the government or whoever else wants it, right? I, personally, don't appreciate that at all. Also, the cuts down on passwords thing doesn't hold weight because you have set up a lot of browsers to have a single master pass for everything anyway. They are not doing this for you. They never do anything for you. They only care what you can do for them.

 

We should start our own video hosting site with blackjack and hookers.

 

You don't have to go on Google+. You can still read the comments on the e-mail notifications; they'll just be sent from Google+ rather than YouTube.

Edit - 7:26 PM PST: You can also click on the alert you get on YouTube and the comment you received will just pop up.

For all we know google+ is just a cover for the government and there just getting more ways to spy on us.(they are everywhere. P.S. This probably isn't true and there's im just a crazy conspiracy theorist)

Personally I don't like how they put these google plus settings in that place where you click your account name and it shows your history, favorites and liked videos. It's to crowded and it just looks odd....

And it's also really annoying when you switch accounts and you have click the Use Youtube As... thing, which is even more annoying on the mobile app because every time you exit the app you have to log in all over again.

And I lost my Inbox :(
