Youtube is ruined

this is just another change in a long line of terrible changes.

If we could organize a mas exodus of youtube, sure.
But last I checked all of my subscriptions are on YouTube so


Just noticed that comment notifications won't be sent to your inbox, but to Google+. I don't ****ing want Google+. I want to use YouTube and YouTube only. i hate you google

 

this wouldn't have happened if microsoft owned youtube. just look at how great bing is.

How the fuck could ANYONE give two shits about the comments section for, of all websites, YOUTUBE?

 

Idk maybe because I've been using it for years have a lot of great memories of it and care about it and don't like seeing it becoming something terrible.

I mean I thought I was justified in not liking a drastic change that makes something worse but guess not

 

So what exactly got changed?

 

I've been using Youtube for more than 5 years, so I've gone through Youtube's changes too.
I'm looking at the comments section of a Youtube video right now.
I am seeing it function just fine.
What's the issue? How can Youtube be "ruined" by this?

Of course this one thing doesn't ruin it. It's a matter of countless minor changes that have been changing YouTube into something entirely different, and will continue changing it until YouTube and Google+ are one in the same. I don't want to use Google+. I don't want to have all of my stuff connected. I would like to be able to use YouTube without having to have 20 other accounts and them all be connected.

I dunno. I find top comments to be rather entertaining.

 

the only problem i see is that all the top comments now are about how the comments suck or how someone doesn't see what the problem is.​

comments are now organized terribly and to comment on a video you have to be linked with a google+ account

and apparently adblock blocks the comment section now. idk

They must be stopped.

 

Somehow I expect people to one day react to a change with excitement. Maybe not this one, but just something on the internet.

 

Explain to me why I shouldn't be mad that they're forcing me to have multiple accounts and are making something as simple as commenting incredibly intrusive.
