So guys, whats your favourite Call of Duty game out of the whole series? Mine has to be either Modern Warfare 2 or Call of Duty 2 (Please no spamming or fighting between which games are better)
I think Call of Duty 2 was the most fun, best single player and multiplayer. Call of Duty 4 had great multiplayer, but everything after Call of Duty 4 wasn't very good in my opinion.
^This I really enjoyed Call of Duty 2 the best out of them all, same thing with Cod 4 and I enjoyed MW2 but when you become the highest rank on multiplayer it get pretty boring even with Spec-ops, still its fun in my opinion.
Spec-ops was alot of fun. Playing the stealth missions with a friend was great, especially when whe one of us would fail xD I still sometimes play Call of Duty 1 at school since the computers are too rubbish to run anything else!
The only CoD's I've ever played 4,WaW,MW2 and BO. I feel like the series has slowly gone downhill as it has gone on. CoD4 was awesome, one of the first (I think) shooters to move into the modern age of war, which if I'm correct, was groundbreaking. Then WaW came, it was still good fun, but WWII games were really getting old, Nazi Zombies, however was quite fun. MW2's campaign and Spec-Ops mode were pretty good, but there was something seriously wrong with it's multiplayer. Black Ops' Campaign was awesome, Zombies is still a blast to play, but the MP has just gotten boring as of late. Hopefully MW3 can make a comeback. As for my favorite CoD out of those 4, it'd have to be Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Not only because it was the first CoD that I've ever played, it was also the one that me and my friends didn't go and trade in 3 months after buying it.
Black Ops!! :inlove: I love Black Ops. I know im a girl, so its a surprise to most boys that a girl like me plays COD, but really, I love the game.. And zombies!! XD lol.
Only played MW2 and Black Ops. Black Ops was better. What I find sad is how stagnant the games from MW onward are. Nothings been added or improved much, which is sad considering the game is so popular, so you are baiscally paying a full retail game price for different skins, textures, dialogue and story. I don't even think the graphics have improved since then. :/ But yeah, BO wa sthe better of the two. Had less one sided multiplayer, interesting story, but i've yet to really enjoy Zombie hoard mode since my team alwys runs off to do their own thing.
I think MW1 is the best. It had awesome guns, great maps, and wasn't littered with quickscoping and all this other ****ery.
MW2, mostly because of multiplayer. Strange thing is, I don't play shooters much but I enjoyed this game.
Well COD 4 is probably the most balanced COD out and after that is Black Ops. Yes there are still "S tier" guns but every COD has had those and the design choices help to alleviate the unbalance created by super guns. WaW could have been a great game... but the MP40 and tanks ruined it for me, along with the overall unpolished feel of the game. I had some fun with it but it's been my least favorite. I liked the story mode at least. MW2 was complete garbage. Horrible design choices and unbalance everywhere. Holy hell I hated this game. Scratch what I said earlier this is my least favorite because it's complete ass. I've never played COD 1-3 but I don't really care too much as I was playing better games at the time these were out. So i'd have to say 4 is my favorite, since I favor game balance and I just think it feels the best out of all of them. Black Ops is close... it's fairly well made (from a competitive standpoint) but that's also a weakness. I don't want to run round with my HURRDURRFAMAS all the damn time stacked with a motion sensor with ghost pro sitting in a corner. . This wasn't an issue with COD4. Sure I wouldn't always go positive or do very well when I started to take the game less seriously, but I wouldn't get completely destroyed like you do in black ops. @Trigger, Quickscoping and noscoping have existed in every third person and first person shooter that have had the design for it to be possible. Thing is, these two things were meant to be tools a sniper could use to combat people at mid-close range and quickly dispatch multiple targets efficiently. The reason that you didn't see very many in COD4 back in the day is because it was much harder in that game and people didn't quite catch on to it. It became a problem in MW2 when IW made SoH Pro. Now you have these kids who miss 80% of the time going for trick shots, treating these sniping techniques like a playstyle(Something only viable in COD imo), while they yell "HAAAAAAAAARRRRDSCCCOOOOOPE" at people who actually try to try and snipe while they 360 past B flag. Pretty much goes against the whole "efficient" part. tl;dr "Cod4 ftw" & "Damn kids ruining my Call of Dutiez gtfo my lawn"
Well i think my favorites would have to be COD III, cause it was my first Call of Duty game i've played, and then World at War, because i LOVE the original 4 zombie maps. (They're really getting out of hand i think with them now.) I also love the story for WaW. my favorite part is probably storming the berlin meeting hall right at the end of the game. I just really liked the way it looked and the openness really made it challenging. Plus there were lots of papers everywhere and junk that made it hard to find the Nazis in there.
