1. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Spoiler 2. Dragon Ball Spoiler 3. Dragon Ball Z (also DBZ Kai) Spoiler 4. Dragon Ball GT Spoiler What are yours?
Well if we're just doing top 4 then mine would be these: 1. Bleach 2. Yu yu hakusho 3. Death Note 4. DBZ
As far as anime is concerned, my #1 will always be Cowboy Bebop. I can understand why some people don't like it; it's a show that doesn't really go anywhere, but if you can learn to appreciate the goings-on of each episode, you'll find a crisp, funny, action-packed, stylish and deep anime that is just fantastically entertaining.
My favorites (in no real order) Death Note - The anime that got me into anime. It's really smart and kept my attention most of the time. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Just pure fun to watch! The idea is very interesting and has some very real moments. My Bride is a Mermaid - I like it because of how original it is, plus how briliantly it played out. Deadman Wonderland - My new obsesive anime. I've read through a lot of the manga, but the anime is really interesting to watch. Soul Eater - It reminds me of Bleach, except Soul Eater is better.
1.) Gintama - Hilarious, got a bit of drama, & it's action-packed, too. I totally recommend this to people who's seeking Action-Comedy animes. 2.) Katekyo Hitman REBORN! - Addicting, Full of cool guys XD, & it has comedy, action-packed and drama too. 3.) Eyeshield 21 - It's my fave sports anime next to PoT (Prince of Tennis). Has drama and some comedy too. 4.) Fairy Tail - Hilarious, action-packed as well. 5.) One Piece - I think everyone's familiar with this title XD
Outlaw Star DBZ Gundam Wing (At the Endless Waltz movie) Rurouni Kenshin Just to name a few of the few that ever got into. If I had to play the "bad parent" move, and pick out a favorite of them, I'd have to go with Outlaw Star. More so than the others, it's overall package was unique, but not too unique to be totally out there. It was set well, and it's main characters weren't just an assortment of random badasses acting tough; there were actually deeper matters touched in it, insecurities that actually made the characters seem more human than most animes depict. Not to mention, even though it only had like 30 episodes to its name before it concluded, it's still managed to leave a lasting impression (at least on me).
No particular order: - Neon Genesis Evangelion - FLCL - Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Cowboy Bebop - Paranoia Agent - Mushi-Shi - Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! Ebichu gets a special mention for being pretty damn hilarious, even though it's a pretty low budget series.
I can't believe you have one piece and fairy tail so low(oh how low they have sunk, pun intended) And i like REBORN! as well, but Japan needs to allow us to dub it
1. Blood+ - I personally like the manga inspired from it better (the one by Asuka Katsura) but maybe it's only because Carl had become such a cutie and Riku hadn't died. It's quite a long series and the plot/story always gets me. It's smart and twisted and pretty unpredictable. It's fun, and I love it. It's rather dark and gore filled but I don't quite mind. 2. Death Note - Of course, this is here. Again with the twisted and clever plot/story. This was the anime that got me back to watching anime. 3. Ouran High School Host Club - It's just a super fun show. I laugh a lot watching it all the time, and I do honestly still love it. 4. Air Gear - Yes, this. All the awkward, disgusting, 'mature' parts aside (which isn't really much... I think.) the whole thing is wonderful. The idea is unique and fun and the characters are well defined. The art is amazing (both for anime and manga) and the plot of course is well thought out and quite comedic. 5. Kuroshitsuji - another dark anime that I enjoyed a lot. It had a balance that I liked and it was a rather stable series. I love how it was all in Europe too.
