Highly aggressive most of the time, with the occasional Curaga when necessary. I rarely use magic.

Pretty much button mash. I use magic for fun... but button mashing seems to be the best option 90% of the time. =/

 

I am pure speed. Quick Dash and Superglide (is that what its called when you max out final form?) are my friends. Whenever I do use magic though, i use it for defense. For example, if an enemy is charging at me ill use blizzaga or thundaga because not only does it stop the enemy but it pushes me backwards so I can quick dash or glide away. If im in close quarters or getting bombarded wtih attacks ill use reflega.

 

Hmm, could make a poll seeing as some are magic, strategic, button mashers.

Anyone think this is a good idea?

 

Smashing something until it dies usually works. I run into battle hacking and slashing and smashing the attack button.

I hardly ever use magic or items; Cure occasionally, but that's about it. I don't rely on speed, either. (Glide is useful, but I don't find many occasions to use it.) Drives are usually not necessary. On the rare occasions when something refuses to die, I'll resort to strategy. But usually all I have to know is when I can beat the tar out of it and when I can't.
But I can adapt to pretty much any style, I think. Except maybe a speed-based style....

Yea, for Kh and Kh2 i just mashed buttons but i'm more of a physical player and leave the rest of the magic and curing to Donald.

I used to just get through the game by button mashing, but having played through the regular KH II at level 1 (using Action Replay to stay at such a low level and cheating for the other benefits from Critical Mode in FM+) and being on my first level 1 playthrough on Final Mix, I've become more of a defensive player. Aerial Dodge, Guard and Glide are my most commonly used abilities (although in Final Mix I often use Dodge Roll instead of Aerial Dodge + Glide) and it's very rewarding to beat a boss without having to heal. I do, however, play offensively against certain bosses against which being defensive is clearly the inferior choice. Barbossa, for example, is much easier to defeat by simply spamming Thunder, Trinity Limit and Valor Form. (beat him in under a minute without any of my party members taking a single point of damage on my first Final Mix save file using that strategy) But against most bosses I prefer casting Thunder from a safe distance while Guarding any attacks thrown at me and striking back with Counterguard, creating an opening for a combo or two. It works quite well against the likes of Terra and looks a lot fancier than watching Sora get the crap beaten out of him.

 

I use an aggressive attack with a lot of cure and defensive magic! I never use offensive magic like Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, Magnetega or summons, I think they're useless.

 

I just press X untill they die, it always works :\

 

I have all combo + and offensive abilities on, and i usually just spam the x button with the occasional square (slapshot? i don't remember what the ability is) I don't use Limits or Summons, i find them kinda pointless. Only magic i use is Curaga, and if i'm against a boss i wait until there's an opening, then go into Final/Master/Valor form and spam X again.

same minds. I love using combos and reaction commands. The RC's really give me boots.

I mess around until I can use Wisdom or Final Form. I also like Valor Form but I don't really use Master Form very often.

 

i prefer not to use ANY Combo Plus or Air Combo and prefer to use Magic to create openings for my physical attacks. i don't like Guard Break but i DO like Explosion and Finsihing Leap. also Stitch PWNS ALL

 

Go insane until everything is gone :3 or go insane... run away... heal... repeat until all enemies are gone.
