    Planes.

Seriously just sit back and think about that shit for a sec. The fact that you can fly (fucking FLY) from Boston to England in 9 hours blows my fucking mind. I don't think some people truly appreciate how ridiculous that is.

Seriously, you're great. Finally, someone gets it.

I point out some of the crazy small things that are actually amazing to my friends and they just look at me like I'm crazy.

Like, one time my friend was showing us a music video on his phone, with the audio playing through his car speakers via bluetooth. And when I sat down and thought about it (the fact that we're watching a series of recorded moments in time being projected through a portable telephone with the sound being projected through FUCKING THIN AIR into my friend's car speakers) it was just crazy to me. Their response were just "...Yeah...that's how smartphones work...".

Life really is amazing though, friend. We are so lucky to be alive in this day and age.

How is it that I can't fly when I spread my arms and run but when a fucking plane made of metal with hundreds of people in it does it can? Wtf, physics?

I actually sometimes get blown away by the sheer fact that video games and consoles and PC's have evolved into the level of tech they're at now, at the size they're at.

You know, I think social media is actually one of the most important out of these innovations.

Do you know how groundbreaking Skype was when it came out almost 11 years ago? Facebook and Twitter are pretty up there, but just...

Face-to-face contact over long distances is HUGE for me. I love the idea that I'm living in the sci-fi novel of some kid in the early 80s.

Actually any form of communication with some person I've never met, is mind blowing enough for me. To think if I went back in time and brought any device with me I'd be accused of sorcery or witchcraft

Reminder that you're basically a muscle that creates electrical impulses encased inside a human body. We're all Titans.

You know what blows my mind? At this very moment, we are all on a planet. At this very moment, every single goddamn one of us is hurtling through space at 29.78 kilometers per second on the surface of an actual planet in space.

I had this kind of thought this weekend. My mom was making brisket, and I had to throw out the trash. I caught a good whiff of all the stuff that went into the brisket, and it was absolutely terrible. I had to ask myself, "how could all of these different things that smell so bad create something that tastes great.

I've literally wasted hours of my life just looking at my hands, moving a couple of fingers at the time, trying to figure all of this out!

Isn't it simply amazing how our relationship with dogs and reciprocal comprehension of each other's body language has progressed to the extent where they can utilize modern human technologies? And we just accept this as an inevitable fact inherent to navigating the Internet??

Also, this just came to my mind a few minutes ago, but....how amazing is it that we, as living organisms, are able to feel emotion pertaining to characters and storylines and moments in ANIMATED MEDIA. I actually felt sad watching Ano Hana, and I felt happy watching Frozen, and unlike live-action media, in which you obviously know the characters are being played by live human actors, you can see that you're looking at DRAWINGS and COMPUTER GENERATED IMAGES. AND YOU STILL CARE.
