Yep. Story goes they like Bosch for the same reason we like Jun Fukuyama: Not as goofy and overdramatic as their native speaker. I have a feeling it's not the only case in history. He actually wanted to do someone in Naruto, but couldn't get any of the parts he tried out for. And if he was telling the truth, he tried out for everyone from Naruto, to Gaara, to the Third Hokage, to Sasuke, to Sakura. I don't know why he was so determined to get in on that, but I think we can all agree that Naruto would be much worse if he had succeeded.
I feel that they're over heard and over used. I absolutely love dubs, although I've been watching more subbed stuff this year. I liked Todd when I first heard him, but since he is over used as the protagonist in many of FUNI's shows, his voice now grates my ears. The only actor I have no problem with this with is J. Michael Tatum.
