I grew up always waiting to see the new pokemon episode every Saturday morning. I'm talking about Kanto with the original 10 year old boy who swore he was going to be the very best. Every episode was well done and you went along with the show the exact same way you went through the games. Every episode had a heart warmong message too. The good old days, How I miss them so.

    Oh god this is evil...erm..

Dragon Ball Z until it stopped airing. After that I guess it was Pokemon all the way up until the end of Season 9 (Battle Frontier), then I started shunning 4Kids forever.

If anything came close to second it would probably be Yu-Gi-Oh.

NOTHING will ever come close to the epicness that is Batman The Animated Series. It's funny, it's deep, it's sad, it's goofy, it's tragic, it's dark, it's serious. It has something for everyone. The characters are great, the action is great, the story is superb. I'd honestly say it's more for adults than kids. Some episodes are just heartbreakingly sad.
I actually got the whole series again very recently, and started watching it, just to make sure it wasn't just nostalgia. And let me tell ya, it still holds a candle to many other series that came after it.

    Edit:
Actually I'm gonna admit here and now, Digimon Adventure 01 comes close. I hold a lot of love for that series too.

Pokemon. I still watch it. The Best Wishes series is a lot better than the series in hoenn and shinnoh.

oh, now I know the name of this show again. Must write down so I don't forget.

But for me I would always wake up early and watch Shinzo, Pokemon, Digimon, Yugioh, and other things on 4Kids and stuff like Winx Club or W.I.T.C.H. At night I would watch Toonami, so DBZ or Fullmetal Alchemist and stuff like that

I used to watch W.I.T.C.H a lot. It was one of my favorites.

But I'd have to say Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon

You weren't. I have the W.I.T.C.H. opening song on my iPod lol
Also, I'm pretty much perfectly in agreement with Foreskin: Batman, TAS, and Digimon Adventure.
Though for me it wasn't just Batman. It was the way Batman and Superman bridged into Justice League and then Justice League Unlimited.
Though I think that the 90s Spider-Man is my #1

I used to be so embarrassed when friends asked me what I watched on T.V., because I always watched the 'Girls Cartoons' when there was nothing decent on.
    I still don't quite know why D:
I feel so unhip being a Pokemon kid. I never got into Digimon.
Of course now I am getting into it, perhaps about 10 years too late >.>

    Best opening theme ever

(also the regular Batman TAS was cool too, but I was too ignorant to really love it like I do now)

Yup, W.I.T.C.H. was one of the best shows of my childhood. Although Shinzo is still way up there. I actually started watching again, but I have trouble keeping track. I was only around episode 4 or something when I stopped. Guess I should start again.

Oh boy do I remember that show. I always remember it as being the first transformers show I ever watched

OH yeah, Batman Beyond was great. I started watching that a while ago too, but I stopped as well....I seem to stop watching a lot of shows. I also watched Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. But it was rare that I saw anything new. There was also The Batman or whatever it was called. There was also Static Shock. Loved that show. I also watched Legion of Super Heros...but that might not have been at the top of my list

I definitely like the first one better. Not exactly sure how to react to the second one. The animation is a little nicer, but the song not so much

Little Bear. Hnnnnnnnnnnnnng nostalgiagasm everywhere. I can thank this show for my appreciation for classical and instrumental music.

I keep wanting to say Zaboomafoo, because it really was my favourite childhood show, but it's not a cartoon (except for the moments of stop motion animation and the "Who Could It Be?" segments).

    Et aussi Pingu.
