You cant hide forever

He glanced at her,then away again

 

Ocean sighed, it wasn't natural for them both to be so depressed and separated. Before River had left they had been the perfect couple, so in sync and constantly happy so long as they were together.

Hermia sat down next to River, more through the feeling she should then wanting to.

 

River got up"Im gonna go get changed...."he said"Im going to see grandma and grandpa today..."

"what about your breakfast?"

"Not hungry anyway..."

"being away f*cked him up..."

 

"Don't swear Elena." Lake sighed, although she agreed with her point.

"Sorry..." Hermia said quietly, picking up a slice of toast. "He probably left because I came in..."

 

"No....Things are still weird between you two....he's never been great with akward situations..."

 

"I just want to go back to what it was before..." She said, fiddling with her arm warmers and hunching up slightly. Her voice was trembling with repressed tears.

 

"It'll just take a little time..."

 

"I-I kn-know..." She sniffled, wiping her face quickly.

 

"He just needs time to adjust to being back....you both do."


"anyone coming?"River asked

"Tell your grandma I'll be round later."

 

Hermia sighed quietly as she slid down in her chair.

"I'll come with you." Ocean said climbing out of her seat. "I haven't seen them in ages."

 

He nodded heading outside

 

Ocean followed behind him, she was hoping that if she spent some time with her brother that she might be able to find out a little more about what he'd been up to for the last few years.

 

He climbed on the bike turning to grin at his sister

"You're suddenly in a much better mood." She said, smiling slightly at the change.

"Its not....as akward out here as it is in there..."

 

"That would be because Hermia isn't out here I imagine." Ocean sighed. "You know she doesn't like the awkwardness either."

 

"who does?"he sighed

 

"It'll all work out well in the end you know." She said patting his shoulder and climbing onto the back of his motorbike.

 

"Hope so cos Im gonna be around for awhile"he laughed kicking the bike to life

 

"Maybe you could try some big romantic gesture?" She suggested, a small laugh in her voice; however she was serious. She held onto her brother, determined not to fall off of the bike.
