"Maybe....But I have a feeling he's not telling us something.....he doesnt talk about what he did while he was gone....he only keeps repeating 'You'd hate me....you would be ashamed to call me yours.' "


Elena went to the window,as she did every mornning,too look out,but she accidently knocked over the large book her father had left"Oops."


River jumped hearing a loud thud from downstairs,It took him a few minutes to relize where he was,he groaned and fell back against his pillows before running a hand through his hair,his hangover beating against his brain like a bat hitting a metal bin "F*ck..."He groaned

 

"Careful Elly." Ocean giggled as she flicked her wand and sent the toast flying into the toast rack. "And I'm sure they will, they've imprinted on each other remember?"

Hermia, who was still as deep sleeper as she'd always been, remained undisturbed by the thud. Her hair covering her face.

 

she nodded,putting the book back and going to the table

River slid off his bed quietly,he glanced at Hermia,unsure if he should leave her there or put her on the bed,eventually he decided to just put her on the bed,She might not like it if he left her were she was,he smoothed her hair away from her face then quietly left his room

 

"So it should take less work then a normal relationship would do as well. If it was normal she wouldn't even be here. And she probably would of gotten over him five years ago." She said, opening the fridge and sending everything breakfast-like onto the table.

In her sleep Hermia leant into his hand, a quiet sound of content escaping her lips before he left. She curled up tightly once he was gone, grasping to his duvet and pulling it closer. The smell was comforting.

"I know..." She sighed. "It's quite upsetting... We should probably get him to talk to someone. It might be something serious like post-traumatic stress... He was never this down before."

 

River came down stairs,trying to tame a flick in his hair

"so everything will be ok."

"I know...he was always happy."

 

"Hopefully. But I think it'll be really awkward for a really long time..." She sighed. Ocean then glanced down at the foot of the stairs. "Hey Riv. Hung over much?" She giggled, trying to change the topic quickly so he didn't realise they were talking about him.

Lake sighed as she sat down beside Mickey. "I just want him to go back to normal..."

 

"Me too..."he sighed,glancing up at his son

"Oh no...what ever gave you that impression?"He muttered sarcastically,sitting down next to Elena

"Ew....you smell like cheap **** and booze."


"Thanks.."

 

Lake rested her chin on Mickey shoulder and looked over at the boy.

"Better then smelling like BO and vomit. That's what some people I know stink of after getting a trashed as he did last night." Ocean giggled. "Anyway, breakfast is done."

 

he ran a hand through his hair again

 

"Hermia going to come down for breakfast?" Ocean asked.

 

"Shes still asleep."

 

"I'll keep some to one side for her, girl doesn't eat nearly enough." Ocean said as she sat down at the table, grabbing a slice of toast from the rack.

 

he took a slice of toast from the rack,bit a piece then put it down,a fingered the dogs tags around his neck

"Why are you still wearing those anyway?" Ocean said, propping her feet up on the chair opposite her. "I would of thought you'd chuck them off the second you left."

 

He shook his head"I like them."


"Does everyone have them?"

"Only the best of the best"

 

"Not that you're feeding your ego or anything." She giggled taking a bite out of her toast.

 

"No seriously...I was...There was only a small group who were the best..."

 

"Well, congratulations?" She said, not quite sure what to say to him.

 

He shook his head"wish I wasnt..."

 

"Okay then..." Ocean said, widening her eyes slightly as she looked down at her toast.

There was a couple of thuds coming down the stairs as Hermia descended them. You could tell she was still half asleep, if not a little hung over.
