You cant hide forever

Elena ran to the window aand looked out

he sat for a few minutes

 

"Looks like she didn't kill him, but boy does he have a red mark on his face." Ocean said tilting her head slightly.

Hermia exhaled slowly and peacefully, her arms still around his waist.

 

"slap mark?"


"we uh....we should go inside"River said

 

"Most likely. I'd slap him too if I were her."

"Yeah..." She said, reluctantly letting go of him.

 

He got off the bike and waited for her


"Me too"she said

 

Hermia swung her legs around and slid of the bike. Quickly she wiped her face.

"Actually I'd do worse then just slap him."

 

He walked towards the house

"Lucky your just his big sister then..."

 

Hermia followed close behind him.

"Very lucky."

 

he laughed


He went inside,glancing at his father

 

Ocean giggled slightly.

Hermia looked down at the floor as she walked behind him. The part of her that wanted her to just let him go making her feel dirty and stupid for following after him.

 

"Are you leaving again?"


He shook his head


ooc-I thought that maybe Cadey takes Hermia and River out or something? cos I planned him to be a little...weird with stuff like boozing and such,like he's forgotten how too? what do you think? just for something to do.

Ocean wandered up to Hermia and quietly started talking to her.

River was sitting at a table in the bar Cadey worked in


"River....you've been staring at your booze for the past 15 mintues...have you forgotten how to have a good time?"

Hermia was sat on the opposite side of the table to River, their relationship was still more then just a little rocky and she disliked being sat too close to him. It made her feel awkward as the inner conflict started up again.

 

He sighed


"Didnt you ever go out? "she asked"Oh my god you werent aloud were you? when was the last time you went out?"

"Danny's birthday....almost seven years ago."he muttered,taking a sip of his drink

 

"Well I've had plenty of practise." Hermia said downing the rest of her drink in one go. "I've spent most of the last decade permanently p*ssed." She said, a dark grin on her face. Before River had left she'd never drunk, at least not to the point of being drunk. So the transformation was more then a little unsettling.

 

"I er didnt know you liked to drink..."he said

 

"I don't. I hate it." Hermia said, the dark grin still on her lips. "But you learn to adjust after a while."

 

He looked at her slightly worried

"River...your far too sober...Oh! Marco,my boss got those-what are they called? Jell-O shots-in who wants some?"

"whats a Jell-O shot?"

 

"Very tasty." Hermia snorted. "It's like jelly, like the crap you supposedly get a parties when you're a kid, not that I ever did. But it's alcoholic."
