Elena launched herself at her big brother"Rivie!"she said hugging his waist

 

"Now, not to cast a shadow over this joyous occasion but: You do know the second Hermia gets wind of you being back she's going to come around a beat you within an inch of your life." Ocean said leaning against the wall. "I mean she's going to kill you, and not even think twice about it."

 

"She might not...if I just explain that I was....well I dunno caught up in something Danny said to me before he died...about protecting people....who shouldnt know we exsist."

 

"Oh believe me, she will." Ocean said warningly. "She's changed since you left. I mean really changed."

 

"How so?"he asked tilting his head

 

"Well, for the first year or so she pretty much just lay around pining after you. Then she slowly started getting colder, and colder. Now she just doesn't care about anything, she spends most of her time getting into fights and tracking down random dangerous vampires to rip apart. At least that's what she was doing last time I saw her, that was about two months ago." Ocean explained, leaning her head back against the wall.

 

He sighed "I better go look for her."

 

"Good luck." She smirked. "You'll need it."

 

Elena dug her nails into his shirt"You just got here!"


He pryed her hands off him gently"I'll be back."He grinned before kicking the bike to life and roaring down the street

 

"You better be back motorbike boy!" Ocean shouted down the street.

In a park not too far away Hermia was starting to wake up. She'd been unconscious and slumped against a breaking down wall that separated the park from the wild woodlands behind it. She had claw marks across her cheek and down her arms, all of which were still slowly seeping blood.
In the last couple of years she'd taken to wearing less clothing then she had done in her teenage years. Rather then simple dresses and girly lace she'd started to wear tight white, belly showing vest tops and tiny black skirts. And on the occasion she was leaving intending to stay human arm warmers and spiked bracelets. Her look at taken a total turn around, she was now more badass-hot then girly-pretty.

 

He circled the streets once more,keeping a eye out for her,he squinted at the park,stopping the bike,"Hermia?"he muttered

 

After a moment she tipped her head back, her long and wild hair falling down from around her face. The cool breeze waking her up more. Her large eyes flickered open, the sunlight glancing off of the blue. But rather then the brilliant purple-blue they had been when River had left then were a dull indigo colour.

 

He got off the bike and headed towards her "Hermia?"he asked tentivly

 

Her gaze shot over to him, a dark glint in her eyes. Quickly she jumped to her feet and wandered purposefully up to him. Hermia's eyes roved over his face, taking in every little detail. Her eyes softened slightly before she pulled her hand back and slapped him as hard as she possibly could across the face.

 

"Christ....Ow....F*ck...Ok I deserved that..."

 

"You're so lucky we're in the middle of a kids park." She growled darkly, the anger almost strong enough to taste in the air.

 

He stepped back slightly"Im sorry Hermia.."he said"Im Sorry I left you with only a letter explaining what I was doing and where I was going...Im sorry it took me six years to contact you again..."

 

"Well sorry just doesn't cut it!" She shouted at him, her voice shaking with bitter resentment, anger and upset. "You have no idea what I've been through the last six f*cking years! You said you loved me! No! You said more then that! You said you f*cking imprinted on me! That was obviously a load of total f*cking bullsh*t! You don't imprint on someone and just f*ck off for six f*cking years!" Hermia continued to scream at him, tears welling up in her eyes.

 

"I did Imprint on you...I do love you....but....I ...I wanted to save people Hermia...I wanted to protect people...ever since I was a little kid I've wanted to do something thats saved people : fireman,doctor,ect...."

 

"Then why didn't you just f*cking tell me! I could of come with you!" She shouted, unable to even look him in the face.
