You cant hide forever

Hermia's smile brightened as tears finally fell down her face. For the first time in years she actually heard the words and believed them. She wanted to just collapse into his arms, just lay there with him like they had done all those years ago.

 

he smiled,opening his arms

 

Hermia half threw herself at him, wrapping her arms as far around him as she could and holding on as tightly as possible. Her hands clutched onto his shirt as she buried her face in his shoulder.

 

River pressed her too him,burrying his face in her hair

 

"I missed you..." She said as she turned her head to one side so she was facing his neck. "I missed you so much..." Hermia mumbled as she leant up and kissed his jawline gently.

 

"I missed you too"he mumbled,raining little kisses on her hair and neck"Im not ever leaving again"

 

"You better not..." She said looking up at him with sad eyes, leaning her head back slightly to look at him better and in doing so exposing more of her neck. "I don't think I could survive you leaving me again..."

 

"I wont...I promise.."he said pressing his lips to her throat.

 

"Thank you..." She said holding him tighter and pushing herself up closer.

 

"You dont have to thank me."

 

"I do..." She said quietly, leaning forwards again and kissing his cheek.

 

he smiled at her

 

She smiled back, a faint blush spreading across her face.

River shut the shower off and stepped out,wrapping a towl around his waist,it had been three weeks and slowly the old River was returning,he was laughing and smiling more,once or twice cracking jokes of his own

 

Hermia was lying across River's bed, she was wearing one of his shirts, and not a whole lot else, and watching the bathroom door from her place on the bed. She'd left the door open just a bit when he'd gone to take a shower.
She too was happier, a lot happier. She didn't feel as though she was alone any more.

Meanwhile downstairs Ocean was just dragging herself in from work, she'd been gone for over twenty-four hours. And this wasn't the first time that week that she had been.
She wandered into the living room and flopped down onto the sofa, barely able to keep her eyes open and her stomach grumbling.
