Jacob chuckled and tried to repair the damage the ruffle did to his styled hair. "Like I wouldn't do it well."

"You looking forward to school starting soon?" He asked with a half-chuckle.

"Is Mum here or did she stay with Hermia?" Ocean asked her father.

"Stupid gits won't know what hit them."

 

"Stayed with Hermia....I dont think she's feeling up to much..with you-know-who around."

"Uh-huh Im all packed and everything."she giggled

"Good boy."

 

"Can't say I blame her." Ocean sighed.

"Good." Casey chuckled. "Sounds like you're all ready to go."

Jacob grinned. "I think your Dad's here." He said looking over at the house.

 

"They'll work it out"He sighed

she nodded

"Is....is Hermia with them?"

 

"You sure? I mean it isn't exactly looking great for them right now..." Ocean said, obviously rather worried for her brother's relationship.

"So, what house do you think you'll be in?" Casey asked.

"No, I don't think there's any other adult werewolves." Jacob said shaking his head. "That reminds me; what's happening there?"

 

"I dont even know anymore.."he muttered

"They will..."though he sounded uncertian

"Gryffindor maybe....or hufflepuff."

 

"What do you mean?" Jacob asked, tilting his head slightly like a curious puppy.

"You don't sound so sure Dad... I thought imprinting was meant to be forever because they're a perfect match..."

"Gryffindor I expect, seems to be what everyone else around here is." Casey chuckled.

 

"I mean...she cant even look at me...last night while we were out...even drunk she cant stand me..."

"It is supposed too."

"Hopefully,"she giggled

 

"Well, I'm not exactly a relationship expert, what with being thirteen and all." Jacob chuckled. "But it just sounds like you two have grown apart. She doesn't really know how you are now, and you don't really know how she is now."

"It can't have screwed up on both of them though, right?"

"I guess we'll just have to wait and see."

"I dont know...wish I did."

"Imprinting doesn't make everything perfect all the time though. You still need to work a little bit at it, and from what you told me about that... procedure your feelings are probably different now. Obviously not gone, but different. if you get what I mean."

"I think the two of you just need some time together to get closer again. I mean there's that, and she's probably spent the last few years trying to numb her feelings for you because she didn't think you were ever coming back." Jacob said. "Maybe you two should go out on a date, or spend the night in or something."

"Seems to cause nothing but trouble from what I've seen..."

"You're welcome kiddo." He chuckled.

 

He smirked,"You know how weird that sounds to me? but I'll give it a try."

"Oh really? look at me and your mother."He said flicking through the paper,stopping suddenly,"Your joking me..."

Another oporitive has been reported as AWOL.

Oporitive River Michael Hunter Malfoy,aged 23,joined 6 years ago and rose through the ranks quickly, he was reported to be 'good at what he did' and a 'asset' to the company

though recently he'd been said to be 'depressed' and homesick,the boy eventually lost it while in a meeting with his bosses after the death of his mentor, Jackson Miller, last month,he reportedly told them they'd be sorry for what they've done,a week later...he was gone.

He stared at the page for a moment...AWOL? "RIVER!"

 

"You can't just expect everything to be perfect after disappearing off the face of the earth for the best part of a decade." Jacob shrugged. "Relationships need work."

"Yeah, you ran off on her for a while; remember?" Ocean said rolling her eyes as her father read the paper. Once he'd read the information in the paper, that she already knew from River himself, and bellowed out at his son she winced. "So much for it being a secret..." She muttered shaking her head to stop the ringing in her ears.

 

"I know..."he muttered"Oh sh*t..."he mumbled"Please....please...please no..."he said getting up


"AWOL.....AWOL? AWOL River?"

"Dad....its not-"

"I know what they do to desserters River!"

 

Jacob looked quickly away from the oncoming fight. Despite his want to join the great war between vampires and werewolves he wasn't very fond of loud shouting matches.
