"It's my dad, he's coming to pick me up"
"Is that so? Aww but I wanted to have some more time with you, can't you tell him that you're staying the night?"
You looked down to the bed, somewhat in shame
"I dunno, he seems pretty mad. I was supposed to go home a long time ago"
Akanji sat down beside you and caressed your cheek
"Well then, don't wanna keep daddy waiting, just be sure to tell him that we just did a little school work and lost track of the time okay"
You slowly nod to affirm him
"Good girl, now let's get you dressed"
You got out of the bed covered in a sheet and scrambled for your clothe.
After a while you were able to locate everything and get dressed, you and Akanji stood at the front door waiting for your dad.

A car pulled up and none other then your dad came out.
As he stormed up the steps, Akanji slowly walked down to him; putting his arm in front of you to hold you back
"Excuse me mister Sanae, allow me to explain why Kuma is so l-"
Your dad(Mudo Sanae) quickly pushed Akanji aside with little regard for what he had to say
"Beat it kiddo, this is between me an my daughter"
Mudo grabbed you by your arm and began pulling you down the steps to his car
Akanji simply watched, not wanting to object between you and your father.

The car ride back home is mostly silent

[] Remain silent

 

What, no break down and cry option? Fine.
Remain silent. Silence is what usually leads to crying in a tense environment like this.

 

Silent. It creates atmosphere, and every good story needs it.
