Which I don't get. Why her? I'd think Emi, since we got her phone number.

 

My guess is because Rita hasn't had any dialogue up til this point.

Though you're trembling, you manage to take your cellphone out (where you're keeping it is beyond me) and dial Rita's phone number?

"Hello?"
Rita picks up her phone and without delay you tell her everything that's happened to you.
"I.....I.... Oh god.."
Rita seems to be at a loss for words.
"Where are you? Stay right there, it's too dangerous for you to be walking home by yourself that late, you can stay at my house for the night"
You tell Rita your location and within about 20 minutes Rita finds you.
The two of you walk to Rita's house as your house is a bit too far away for 2 young girls to be walking too in the middle of the night. The walk home is fairly silent.

After a quick shower and a change of clothe you head to Rita's room.
"Here, you can sleep in my bed for the night, I'll be downstairs on the couch."
A few hours later, you're still awake; pondering the outcome of your first day as the little girl.

You eventually fall to sleep.
