Umm, wth ?
Getting this belt would say beeing two belts away from a black belt in karate, and I have overcomed like 7 belts before I got this one. So I have 3.kyu (1 brown belt) And two more to go. Yes, it really depends on the level on which club/ place you are from. And also your ablilities and experience.
I am in the highest gradtuated grup and I am one of the ones that have been at my club the longest.

And why is that so ?.=P

I have seen some kung- fu and going to try it on a camp in the summer.
But it is not really a good way learning the whole 'essence' of kung-fu through movies XD sure you can learn some but wouldn't it be much more fun if someone teached you ? :P'

Red belt in what ?
In Okinawa kenpo karate red belt is the last and best black belt you can get XD.

 

I'm more of a teach yourself kinda human. I taught myself guitar, kung-fu, twin swords(kinda kung-fu), typing, humor, lying and sitting around like a lazy person.
I do go to a class but not to learn so much as spar. I'm decent enough at it. Although I'm a little bit(I mean a really little bit) better than this one black belt. It really doesn't mean much. He's from another school and he likes to tell everyone else what's "not allowed". The sad thing is he's like thirty and he still is about even with me in terms of sparing. Oh well enough about me.
