The team that created Kirby’s Epic Yarn is hard at work on the first console game to feature Yoshi as the main character since 1998′s Yoshi’s Story for Nintendo 64. Takashi Tezuka, director of Yoshi’s Island and Yoshi’s Story, is supervising the development of the new game, which is set in a fanciful world of yarn and textiles.
You should really include a source of some sort next time. Also, I have some screenshots and some footage from WiiU Direct. It looks cute. Spoiler: screenies
A new Zelda, a Wind Waker HD remake, and a new Yoshi title all announced in the same day? It's like Christmas in...January. Anyway, I'm liking the art style on this one. I think it fits Yoshi's character quite well. Plus he just looks so darn cute in yarn form. Can't wait to see more of this game.
I hope this plays very similar to Yoshi's Island or unlike anything I've ever played ever. Looks great and has piqued my curiosity. Day one buy.
This looks promising with a fitting art style, I hope you can actually die in this one,*cough*Kirby's Epic*cough*Yarn*cough*
I second this. The fans have wanted another Yoshi title like it for over a decade. chances are they will make it similar yet completely different.
you do realize that's an oxymoron, right? If you mean that they would use familiar elements alongside new elements, then I can see that happening. Using the old gameplay and enhance it with some new stuff, or just have completely new yarn-based gameplay.
