I can guess that the subtitle will be dropped all together I the localisation. I still need to finish Yakuza 4, I'm just annoyed by the same city with little to no change to it. I want something different or at least a different look to the same places. 5 cities is good to hear, though 5 main characters sounds a little too much for one overarching sorry. Hopefully nothing too confusing.
Don't really know how to feel about this. While I did love Yakuza 4, a lot, it did feel a bit unfocused in my eyes. None of the characters, not even Kiryu, felt as fleshed out and fun as Kiryu did in Yakuza 3. Still, I did like three out of the four main characters of Yakuza 4, and since it seems that they have possibly gotten rid of Tanimura, this could turn out to have really great cast. Also pretty curious about the five cities, how big will the cities be? My guess is that you four of them will be about the size of the Okinawa city place and Kamurocho will come back to be the biggest again. Assuming that Tokyo=Kamurocho. Haruka is growing up so quickly.
I remember asking someone if they thought Sega buying Atlus might mean the Yakuza games being localised by them. Hopefully even if this rumor is false, it will stir up some attention and let Atlus take notice. Otherwise there's always that Sony third party production group, who has said they've gotten a lot of requests for Yakuza. I just want to play the game mang
I loved Yakuza 3 and 4 so I'm looking forward to this. But I will echo the sentiment that 5 characters seems a bit much. Unless they add in co-op or a quick character switch dynamic and not segment the story too much it can work.
At least Haruka doesn't fight, she just has dancing fighting games instead, lol. So as far as the fighting character goes, it's mostly like 4. Sadly, Atlus themselves, debunked this rumour.
