"I see..." Tear said and looked down. "But is that really any reason to want to destrony him?" She asked and looked up at him.

 

"It's a good enough reason for me." he said.

 

Tear couldn't exactly argue with that. "Okay..." She said and then hugged him. "Sorry for hitting you," She said softly.

 

"Whatever." he said.

 

Tear crossed her arms. "So what now? We try to erase players?" She asked, staring at the ground.

 

"We have to wait for the next day." he said. "Today's mission has been completed, as you saw for yourself."

 

Tear sighed. "Alright..." She said and kept staring at the ground. Man, this is boring... She thought.

 

"If you want to see how your so called 'friends' are doing, you can look into that ball over there." he said, pointing to a table with a crystal ball on it.

 

Tear looked over at the crystal ball. Curiously, she walked up to it and looked in it.

 

"Just think of them while looking into it and you will see them." he said, yawning.

 

"Hmm..." Tear let an image of Masota float into her mind and she looked into the crystal ball, wanting to see how he was doing.

 

Masota was running back to the others, still crying.

Higami laid back and took a nap.

 

Tear felt sadness sting at her when she saw him crying. Glancing over at Higami, she noticed he was sleeping. She quietly snuck out of the lounge and headed to where Masota was.

 

Masota kept running. He was running so fast that he tripped over his own feet and fell to the ground, still crying. "Why'd she try to erase herself? Why'd she have to become a reaper?" he asked himself.

 

"Masota..." Tear said softly and walked up to him, a pained look on her face. "You... really do care..."She said.

 

"Tear!" he said, shocked. He got to his feet and looked at her wings. "So you really are a Reaper now. Does that mean you're going to erase me?"

 

She shook her head. "No..." She said softly. "We have to wait until the next day to erase any players. The mission's over..." She looked down. "And you... really are my brother..." She said softly.

 

"I thought you said I couldn't be your brother? What made you change your mind? And since you can't erase anyone today, does that mean you'll erase me tomorrow?" he asked.

 

"Because it's a fact, Masota... We have another brother- he's a reaper, too- named Hagami. The one who turned me into a reaper, remember?" She said and looked down. "Anyways, I don't know what will happen tomorrow... I-..." She looked at him sadly, a feeling of swelling pain rising up in her. He really does care about me... He's showed it... She thought. I can't erase him... But being a reaper, I might have to... Maybe there's some way to get out of this? She thought and stared at the ground. "I'm sorry, Masota... I know I screwed up..."

 

"You didn't answer my question. Are you going to erase me tomorrow? What about Arisa, are you going to erase her like you planned?" he asked.
