He ignored Roxas and put his hand on her shoulder. "You can tell me." he said softly.

 

"I said it's nothing!" Tear shouted angrily and turned around to face Masota. Then she gasped, quickly covering her mouth. "I-I'm sorry..." She said softly and looked at Roxas. "Sounds good to me..." She said to him and looked at Masota. "You want to, Masota?" She asked, trying to change the subject.

 

"No." he said, looking away. "I can never forgive him for what he did. If you want to hang out with this player killer then fine, but leave me out of it." He ran off again.

 

"Sorry..." Tear said to Roxas and then ran after Masota. "Masota, wait!" She shouted.

 

"Ummm...I thought we got over this?" Roxas said a little confused as he watched Masota run off

 

"Why should I?" he asked, still running, feeling tears going down his cheeks.

 

"Because I'm your partner and we need to stick together to survive this game!" Tear shouted, still running after him.

 

He stopped running and turned around, still crying. "Is that all you think of me as? Your parther? I thought we were friends!" he said.

 

"T-That's not what I meant!" Tear said. "You are my friend, Masota!" She stopped running and looked at him, tears now falling down her cheeks. "I-I mean... I try to be... B-But you remind me of my brother!" She screamed and clenched her fists.

 

"You say it like it's a bad thing." he said, looking away.

 

"..." Tear looked down, not saying anything. She wanted to tell him why she was acting like this... That her brother had died, but he hadn't come back to life... That he had been one of the most important things in her life... But she couldn't find the words to say it.

 

"I'll take that as a yes." he said, turning and walking away.

 

Tear looked up as he started to walk away. "Wait..." She said. "It's not a bad thing..." She smiled as the tears fell from her face to the ground. "My brother was my whole life... He meant more to me than anything..." She began to explain and then looked down. "But... H-He died... And he never got his second chance... So it kind of hurts to think about him..." She said.

 

"I'm sorry." he said, walking over to her.

 

"..." Tear didn't say anything for a moment. Then she looked up at him. "...Are you mad at me?" She asked him.

 

"No, I'm not." he said, putting his hands on her shoulders. "I'm sorry about your brother."

 

Tear looked down. "..." She didn't say anything.

 

He put his arms around her and held her in a friendly hug.

 

Tear started to cry.

 

"Don't cry." he said. "Be happy."
