358/2 Days Xion's appearance

It looks like it's undecided then because I thought Riku first saw Xion as Namine >_>

 

Riku saw her as Sora at first. Same as Axel after Xion defeated Xigbar.

 

It's fine to say that but where was it confirmed?

Riku never believed that Sora had a nobody and learning that Xion's keyblade was fake assured him even more that one didn't exist. If Riku had seen her as her normal self, why did she recover her face? By then we had seen Xion for a good while now, why did she cover it up again. Unless something strange was underneath there, something the player shouldn't know about yet. Foreshadowing.
The same occurred once Xigbar was defeated by Xion and she took off her hood to show Axel.

I thought she was the nobody of Sora's memories of Kaire.

I kind of thought that it was supposed to be intentional, and that Xion was created in order to obtain Sora's powers. Was the whole part about Xion receiving Sora's memories planned or not?
