Digital Art Xion Sig (Big Days Spoilers)

[I just love how Sora looks in an Org. XIII cloak, so I made this sig.]

 

Couldnt you have just said Sora Sig instead, cause then there would be no need for spoilers, but he's in the organization coat asdfghjkl;

Anywho, Im not a fan of this. It's very basic and needs work on all fronts. Effects, text, texture, color, etc is all messed up. Reaads some tuts and work off from that.

 

Well we all like how Xion turns into Sora and how he looks in the cloak, but in this sig you can't really see too much of the cloak itself. The idea is good, just executed in the wrong way in my opinion. The brush that you used around his head with the blurring looks a bit much, almost like it was done haphazardly in Paint with the spray paint tool. The use of the same color leaves a lot of open space on the right side. Try changing up the color of the text too, because the use of the same color makes it look boring. Add in some gradients and effects, also try making the focal point stand out more. Add in some lighting effects too because right now it looks a little bland. Look up some tutorials, there are some great ones out there. I'd like to see you post a tag after trying a tutorial. Nice effort. :3

I love the fact Sora's in a Orgy cloak, but the effects kill it.
The colours could be brighter and more mixed, flowing.
It's the same with the text, more flowing..

Okay, V2. And by the way, as far as I know, you don't see much more of the cloak before (s)he puts his/her hood up, rendering the face unseeable.

 

the game is ruined! well not really. i don't even know why its a spoiler other than it probably took all the joy of finding out he had one out of the game's twist.

sig is alright for a beginner's.

 

To be honest, I like it a little bit.

I don't really care for people who say that it's lacking a lot.

I mean, yes it is, but that's not what I would focus on. I would focus on what makes it a successful piece. Obviously it's successful or TDT would've said that it was a piece of trash.

You know, you can tell it's not actually Sora because of the eyes. They just don't look like Sora's.

 

Honestly, it looks like someone threw up all over him/her. I look at it, and all I see is a boring background, Sora/Xion, and some random blurring and brushing. Also, because of the darker brushing around his hair, it almost makes it look like he has an afro. Ew.

They looks like a girl's eyes, imo.​

 

I think the intent was good. But it needs work.
You still need to erase all over the old background behind Xion/Sora's head. But basically what everyone has said, it needs different colors and/or lighting.

Good effort so far.

 

I'll keep that in mind. I actually found a better stock, but it's from the same cutscene so the background will be similar. And his hair is a bit cut off.
