358/2 Days Xion in KH2?? (SPOILER)

It was stated that Xion was "absorbed" by Roxas at the end of 358/2 days as well as it being stated by Nomura that Xion, or a small part of her, lives on in Roxas.

In KH2, there's a scene where Roxas is at the Station of Awakening and he's wondering around aimlessly. Suddenly, a door and a treasure chest appear. Roxas continues walking and he abruptly turns around to find a person in a cloak, possibly an organization member (I say "organization member" because of the attire and possibly stance)

Now, its possible it could just be a form of mental or inner self OR it could be Xion. Personally, I want to believe its Xion. It can't be, or atleast it's not plausible to think Xemnas or someone from the organization would be inside Roxas' cognition. Who else could it possibly be? By the stance and perhaps size of the unknown cloaked figure, Xion fits it perfectly. However! That's hardly enough to go on seeing as said stance and attire are similar throughout all the members for the most part.

At the end of the Roxas game, Roxas battles Riku. When Roxas throws the keyblade, its stated that Xion is talking through Roxas to Riku for him to stop Roxas because she didnt believe Roxas was yet strong enough to take on Xemnas. So, with that being said, we can say that Xion is still somewhat conscious within Roxas.

Personally, I think that image represents Roxas' self as an Organization member; the screenie looks distinctly male to my eyes. However, I've heard it mentioned elsewhere that the seashell washed away on the Destiny Islands in the opening represents Xion; this makes more sense to me than your idea, no offense. The figure just strikes me as really masculine, and in fact, I had to doubletake because at first I though it was hooded Roxas in his battle with Sora.

 

The figure strikes me more feminine, but I guess that would all depend.

When the Organization appears in Hollow Bastion for the first time is really does seem like at least one of them was a girl. But alas, they were guys.

It could be either, but I actually thought t was Riku/Ansem, you know... keeping an eye on him and all. But it could be Xion.

The cool thing is that it was there just long enough to notice, but too short to actually notice anything specific

 

I think that's just Riku/Ansem.

 

How did he get there?
And why would he summon the Twilight thorn? And even if he didn't sumon it, why didn't he help Roxas defeat it?

I think it's the same unknown Org. member thats been seen in Coded.

 

It was Axel.

I read the manga, Axel was sent by Xemnas to summon the Twilight Thorn. And he stood there then disappeared once Roxas turned around.

 

How did he get there? Plus can we really trust the manga, most of it isn't canon.

And I apologize, but that does not look like a female body unless by that point, Xion was appparent in the true nature, and appeared as Sora. That's obviously a male's body, exactly how Roxas looked in the Organization XIII's cloak, and his stance. That's definitely no girl. Compare Xion's body of Days to this, and you see that it is impossible. Not Axel either, considering he's much taller, skinnier, tight sleeves, etc. People have speculated it is a form of Roxas's inner self when he was in the Organization. However, there is really no clear conclusion.

Who knows? It might be that Coded unknown that keeps messing with the data.

Nomura can actually retcon that in easily. "Oi, you remember that unknown cloaked guy in Roxas's Awakening?! lololololololololololoyeah, that that unknown dude's from Coded first appearancelawl."

 

Maybe it's Ventus and in BBS we'll find out he was the first one to wear an Org. 13-style clothing.

You do have a point however I think it's more likely to be Roxas reflecting on himself, being part of the Orginization and all.

 

I agree with this~ I did for a second think that it could have been Xion afterwards, but I don't think that would make much sense- -although I don't know much about her at the moment. All I do know is that she cared for both Roxas and Axel, so I can understand why she'd be standing there trying to prevent him from doing something dangerous~? o.o;
And it does look like the scene where Roxas and Sora fight later on in the game. . Kingdom Hearts really knows how to confuse people. . XDD

 

My thought was it could be Axel, considering the fact that he was the only member we see in Twilight area. But looking at the phsyique says that it isn't. It could very well, be Roxas's inner self or Xenmas. Xenmas has been known to be there with Roxas from time to time. During the cermony when he got his name and the World of Darkness. Whoever it is is definity male built.

 

It is cloaked Roxas. That's a fact.

Take it from someone who's messed around with KH2's models and whatnot.

As for why it's cloaked Roxas... eh... Why not? That whole awakening was part of Roxas regaining his memories and keyblade bit by bit, so I guess his former self would be a part of that.

Of course... considering Roxas and Sora have the same body build and the cloak magically hides your head no matter how much hair you have, I suppose one could argue that it is in fact that Xion... but... No. Please don't.

 

No it's not Xion because she wasn't even thought up until the 358/2 days development came into process.

 

Look heres how it goes,Xion starts to look like Sora,Xion really looks like Sora,Xion feels evil and wants to abosrb Roxas,Roxas wins,Xion GO BYE BYE (FINALLY I HATED HER FROM THE BEGGINING)

Sora saw his inner self.

Roxas saw his inner self.

Simple as that.

The Awakening is also called "Dive into the Heart"
So they dived into their own hearts.
I think, however, that Nomura had Xion fade into Roxas like that so it could be possible for her to be part of him and that cloaked figure can be her.
But before Days was thought of, it was Roxas' inner self.
