358/2 Days Xion Discussion Thread

It's been confirmed she is a Keyblade wielder, but the Keyblade is made from memories, which could mean they come from Sora's memories.

 

i really hope that theres more to Xion then the fact that she has some unnarutral connection to Sora...i woundnt be happy if that was the case

 

OK, so far, the following Nobodies have shown GENUINE emotion : Roxas, Xion, Axel, and Namine. Note that they all have relations/interactions to/with Xion and Roxas. Axel said that Roxas had a heart. Yhis could be true as his somebody was still alive and had a heart, therefore, Roxas could have experienced emotion through sora's heart. The same could go for namine. Perhaps having such strong ties with Namine and Roxas gave Axel somewhat the effects of having a heart, which is why he didn't experience as intense emotions as Roxas and Namine. However, Xion appears to experience sorrow deeper than Roxas and Namine ever have. Therefore, it arouses the question, does her Somebody still have a heart, too? Could it be someone connected sora that we don't know about? This could be possible, but I highly doubt as my talking points are extrememly fragile, but at leat it's something to throw out there.

 

I think Xion is just a mix with Kairi and Sora. Because from Kingdom Hearts Kairi's heart was in Sora. Then Sora released her heart and his own. She wields the keyblade becuase of Sora and gets just about everything else from Kairi. I wouldn't know about her attitude though.

This is something that I got from recent scans. Not the most recent, but still recent.

Saix said to Axel, "The concealed room. The place Xion was born."

I have a theory based on that.
While it's entirely possible that the "The concealed room" and "The place Xion was born" were referring to two different places, I'm using the logic that they probably weren't.
My theory is that "The concealed room" refers to the Room of Sleep, maybe the Room of Awakening, but that's less probable. If I'm right saying that "The concealed room" and "The place Xion was born" are the same place, that means that Xion is in some way connected to Xem/Xeh's memories. If this is true, that means Xion is the link that connects Days the BBS in that Xion must also be connected to MX or Terra (both might be Apprentice Xeh.)
What do you guys think?

 

Thats exactly what I thought as well, perhaps Kairi somehow lost and regained her heart in two instances, which resulted in two nobodies being formed?

I agree strongly, there is definitely a possibility there. Maybe it has something to do with when Sora was harboring Kairi's heart inside him? Maybe it had a reverse effect with a nobody.

Theoretically:

That should be it. Sora technically lost two hearts when he released both his and Kairi's with Riku's keyblade. That should have resulted in the creation of two nobodies. If nobodies are the opposites of somebodies then it might have applied to the creation of the nobody. Instead of Sora's body with Kairi's heart, instead a nobody could have been created with a body like Kairi's and a personality like Sora's. Roxas remains normal because it was Sora's body and Sora's heart that created him.

 

I would like to add that Namine would have been born when Kairi gave her heart to Sora... possibly.

 

I think that Namine was born when kairi's heart entered Sora's body, and Xion was born when Sora stabbed himself with the keyblade.

 

Quite the reverse.

Roxas and Namine were born after Sora stabbed himself with the Heart Unlocker in Hollow Bastion while it is likely that Xion was created when Sora's heart made contact with Kairi's prior to DI being destroyed.

The theories concerning Xemnas and Marluxia using the memories in Sora's heart when they went through him could had been used to create Xion.

 

My theory on things about Xion. I organized it for you, too.
Name: Nio
Reason For Wielding Keyblade: A nobody of Sora and Kairi. She has Kairi's aspects with Sora's ability to wield a keyblade.

She was most likely killed by the Org. 13 for attempting to leave. She may have found out herself. Her special friend is Roxas, mirroring Sora and Kairi.

My theory seems to be dead-on, from the information I've been able to gather.

I remember seeing a subtitled scene with DiZ and Namine, with Namine saying a strong significance about "leaked memories." What leaked was probably the memory of Namine, thus forming a new Nobody. In Coded, note how it was significant for Mickey to do something about Jiminy's Journal. Something would have happened in real life if they weren't corrected, right? What if it's the same thing with Sora's memories?

Xion's name without the "X" is "Oni," which is a type of Japanese creature that can be a demon. Demons are formed irregularly and are considered unnatural. Well, "leaking" memories seem to be fairly unnatural, right? Then again, so is a keyblade coming out of nowhere saying, "Do not be afraid. You hold the mightiest weapon of all."

Naminé?

very interesting to see that Xion looks exactly like Kairi from KH2. The eyes, especially, look very similar. As Roxas was Sora's Nobody, Xion could be Kairi's. But wasn't Naminé the Nobody of Kairi? Hmm...this sounds like a reincarnation. It's like when someone's soul leaves the body, it is reborn through another person's body. and Japanese tales always involve things like that. Of course this is just my stupid theory. I believe there's more to the story that is not told yet. Still, I think Xion has some connection with Naminé.

Kairi lost her heart in KH1, as Riku explained when he found her. This is probably how Xion existed as Kairi's Nobody. Kairi's heart was in Sora. Strangely in Hollow Bastion, Sora freed Kairi's heart and he himself became a Heartless. That's how Roxas was born as explained in KH2. Something happened to Xion later on and she had to turn into another form, a demon or a witch. Naminé was called a witch who mixed up Sora's memories.

 

If you see it really nitpicking you will see that Xion can't be "Kairis Nobody".
Because Kairi is a princess of a heart she has no darkness in her heart. So there couldn't be any Heartless or even a Nobody of her.

Remember, the Nobody is the left body of the Somebody after the darkness in his heart has taken him over and transformed him into a Heartless. BUT Kairis body was lying next to Riku and was transported to Hollow Bastion. If you think about it than THIS LEFT BY BODY should/must have been transformed into Kairis Nobody. But it didn't. Why? Well I said this before, she has no darkness and so on. Namine was created the same moment in which Roxas was born also.

[Roxas = Soras body, Soras darkness, Soras heart]

[Namine = Soras body, Soras darkness, KAIRIS HEART]

That's why she can manipulate Soras memories the way she did in CoM.

So, actually there shouldn't be any possibility that Xion exist, but well... here she is lol

I think it's maybe possible that Xion was "somehow" born when Kairi lost her heart the first time... ... ... now you should say: yeah , you said already that this isn't possible moron -_- uhm.. wait.. why first? Kairi lost her heart just once...?

If you look at it nitpicklingly again than you will encounter that she lost her heart TWICE. And that all happened in KH 1 ! Hollow Bastion was actually the second time. The first time was on Destiny Island when the door opened and she float against Sora and then suddenly disappeared. Her heart moved to her to Sora. So... I know... really nitpicking xD But maybe Xion was created there somehow... I dunno... But at this time it's the only possible solution for that "Where did she come from"-problem so far. And I also dont know why she appeares several events later... *sigh*

 

I think Xion's name without the X is Oni.
Oni means demon.

But if you think about Namine, everybody called her a witch so.. anything can happen ~

 

Building on this Theory and many others, it seems that Xion is indeed a combination of Sora and Kairi, and the "Oni" Name is indeed the original, if not then a mere connection(Good job Enix, another connection.) to the name's meaning.

Namine' is Kairi's Nobody.
Roxas is Sora's Nobody.

The Heart Unlocker created Roxas AND Xion. Releasing the Heart of Kairi and Sora, Her looks and his ablilties(and eyes if noone noticed) became the imperfect abomination that is Xion(Oni meaning the irregular creation of it, and a nice spin on it to keep Organization tradition, making it Xion. This game is originally Japenese with English elements, consider it.)

Xion is the irregular imperfect Nobody of Sora and Kairi.

She can weild the keyblade, which is why she is entered into the Organization. They do not know who she is.

Her memories are of Sora and Kairi's which is why she seems out Riku to a answer as to who she really is and why she has those memories.

Xion was never meant to have those memeories. Nobodies should never exist, but Xion is the ultimate abomination.

The Organization finds out who she really is and gets rid of her, despite her being able to weild the keyblade. She held memories that could drive away Roxas and herself in the process, that's why they decided to kill her. That gets Roxas thinking about who he really is and leaves the organization.

EDIT:

I have re-read the Secret Ansem Reports and I thought I should add this on with my research.

Ansem noticed in his own research the while Namine' is Kairi's Nobody, it was Sora's body that made up the vessel (See reports 9 and 10).

So, if my research and theory is correct, Sora has made THREE Nobodies at once.

Perhaps....
Xion isn't isn't a Nobody...but a Unbirth?
That is more of guess than actually soild thought, but one can only wonder.
