my cracker pot Xion theory:

Xion is no one's nobody. her anagram is No I. as in no self. Xion had no origional and has always existed (or lack thereof) as a nobody. she is a special condition Nobody so she is has true emotions like Roxas and Namine. her Keyblade is the Realm of Nothing Keyblade similar to how Sora has the Realm of Light Key and Mickey has the Realm of Darkness Key.

well that's my theory. probably wont be popular and i have no evidence to back it up but whatever

heey...you know...something just popped up in my head....cause you know the keyblade that riku gave to kairi right.....maybe he got that from xion.......who knows......sorry if i disturbed your theories....with this random one......just wanted to share it here...

And I don't think she'll die... there's a chance she might like the other organization members did but she is different... I think she'll just merge with her orginal self (if she has one) like roxas and namine did because they are also different from the rest of the nobodies.​

I think that's a very good theory! But didn't she have the Kingdom Key?

 

yeah it is the Kingdom Key but i heard rumor saying she at some point steals Roxas' Kingdom Key so maybe she doesn't have a Keyblade of her own but she can weild one. (just like Kairi in KH2 actually)

 

I'm betting she's a homunculus; an artificially created Nobody who had no Other. Xemnas whips her up like the Emblem Heartless that were created in KH1 with that weird machine at the End of the World. (I think. That's what that was for, right? Haven't played that part in a while, so please forgive me if I'm wrong.)

As to why she exists, I have two theories:

1) Even with the memories of his other to hang over his head, the Organization couldn't be absolutely sure they could control Roxas. So they create a girl Nobody, pump her full of Sora's memories so it seems like they might have known each other in their past lives, and set her loose on 13 so he thinks he's getting closer to his answers, while in fact he's stuck in a hamster ball.
2)Double the keyblade weilders = double the Heartless moving in on them and double the hearts harvested.

Or it could be a combo of both.

Tho I'm still thinking she might be Kairi's nobody... Possibly...

I have had a theory since I saw the trailers and such with Xion. Well, me being unable to comprehend Japanese, went to the english subtitles. But as you watch, Namine and DiZ are around that egg thing, and Namine says "She" and so, I have a kind crazy idea.

Kairi has a sister, and her sister gets caught up in the havok and now she's Xion. That would possibly conclude why she had a keyblade.

Sorry, I'm very bad at this scientific theories. My other ones were that Roxas and Xion were dating (Like when the were just people, like Sora and Nio?) 'cause when Roxas sees Xion he says "I've been searching with Axel for you, want to get back together?" But that's just my theories. xD

 

Xion will die. No question. Riku even said in The World That Never Was,"We have to take out Xemnas, he's the Organizations last survivor." Riku knew about Xion, therefor he must've known that she dies. Most likely the first to go in the Organization.

 

Well that, or maybe Xion becomes one with Kairi/Sora somehow.

 

IMO I think Xino was created when Sora got his heart back thanks to Kairi, and she is created from Sora's memories of Kairi, so that's why Xion look so much like Kairi from KH1 so unlike all the other nobodies, Xion doesn't have a somebody since she was born from memories. But I maybe wrong.

I'm still hopeful of my last theory....

 

She is only on the DS, ergo, this game.

The problem with all of that is the fact that we don't see Xion's grave in the Proof of Existence.

What was your last theory?

 

In my own opinion, Xion was created by someone with just a body without a heart?or maybe she was born along side Namine since we don't even know where Namine was born and we know Roxas was born in twilight town.
