Nomura has also confirmed that the three games (Coded, Days, BBS) are independent of each other. Which means a character from one game (Aqua, BBS) has nothing to do with a character from another game (Xion, Days) and also, if Xion was Aqua's Nobody, that doesn't prove the connectiong she has with Sora or Kairi (unless you think Aqua's connected to both of them too). And why would they introduce a character in one game (Xion) and then say she's a Nobody of a character in a game that comes out much later (Aqua, BBS)?

 

He actually said the exact opposite in his interviews. Days, BBS and Coded are all related, which makes sense - how are you supposed to base a proper plot for the eventual KH3, if you just throw out three games at the fans when they have nothing in common?

Xion only has to be related to Sora in order for her to have the Kingdom Key, and Roxas's Memories as can be understood from one of the trailers.
Her being affected by those Memories can also easily explain her looks - which means she bears no true relation to Kairi save for the fact that Sora, whose Memories shape Xion - remembers Kairi.

Ask yourself this - why should he introduce a character in one game that didn't stick around to the game that came afterward (KH2) if she lacks any relations to anyone?
Xion could explain where Aqua disappeared to, and Xion disappearing will either be the end, or the turning point in Aqua's story. Plus, with Roxas being Ven and Xehanort being Terra (most likely theory, and they are negatively colored versions of each other), Xion being Aqua is kind of a given in order for TAV to have a 'reunion' in the Organization. It would also explain why Xehanort was the one that brought her in to begin with, and also tie in with him having Aqua's armor as shown in the FM+.

 

Actually he said they were INDEPENDENT, they are related in the sense that they all build up to a third KH, but their stories are independent of one another.

Again, no. He said they were related. This isn't Final Fantasy 1 and Final Fantasy 2. No game in KH is truly independant, and those three in particular have a story that interlaces.

And the fact is you're theorizing as well by saying Xion is related to Sora and Kairi, while being unrelated to Aqua. So how does that work?

the games overall stories ARE independant in the fact that they wont directly affect each other. like lilbueno said no new characters from one game will have a ralation with a new character from another game. Nomura does this so that people whp can't play all three games won't be hopelessly lost.

now the games ARE connected in the sense that each game provides some sort of revalation ythat builds up for KH3. KH3, when it comes out, is what will tie the three games together in a significant sense.

 

we need the actual interview though in order to get quote by quote proof because i cant go along with what you're saying because i cant remember

 

I fail to see how the red and green parts relate in your mind. If you won't play all three games, you'll get hopelessly lost in KH3, so you'll have to play all three anyway. And since you'll need all three games, it's unimaginable that they'll talk about stuff that happened in Days with no relation to what happened in BBS since BBS, Days and Coded all relate to KH3, so they aren't independant in the sense they affect each other.
BBS is why everything that takes place - the events in Days included - takes place. Or did Xemnas calling Aqua's armor "Friend" not clue anyone in on the fact that no, the games are not independent in that sense?

Okay, most likely, if KH3 is released, the main four games will be the only ones people need to follow. Like Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, if you hadn't played that game, you couldn't possibly understand Kingdom Hearts II to the fullest. But any extra details in Kingdom Hearts III will probably relate to: Birth By Sleep, 358/2 Days or Coded.

Also: A recent Famitsu article states that she has a "tragic yet, brave fate." Basically, she probably dies, or escapes the Organization and something happens to her, so there we go.

There is no proof to get, the interview has probably been, either: deleted, or abandoned for a while, so there's no chance of getting anything.

 

you can ask for it on khinsider. ask audo or go looking through the pages. they will always have the interviews. i found one for kh2 for god's sake

 

I actually quite agree with this theory... somehow it had just hit'd me. Let's see how Nomura can surprise us this time!
