I agree. They like to make names as complicated as possible. Think about how many Ansems there were....Professor Xehanort, Xehanort's Heartless, Xemnas, Dark Riku, Riku as Xehanort, and Ansem the Wise/DiZ. Why not continue the theme and do the same for the name Xehanort.

 

I think "Master" Xehanort is the real Xehanort, the one we see in Kingdom Hearts, Reverse/Rebirth and II is someone who was close to Xehanort, maybe the person wearing Riku's Darkness Costume is the Fake Xehanort.

LOL this guy really likes to take other people's names, can't he just call himself the name his parent's gave him.

Although I do think it may be something different, such as possession.

 

I posted some links to pics of the characters which show their colored eyes so we could compare and maybe it will help clear up some things. I don't think I missed anyone but there's always a chance. Maybe that will help us compare a bit more.

We now need to decide, is the yellow eyes a sign of the Darkness, or a normal colour?

I think it is from prolonged affiliation with darkness.

[most] scientists have them, Diz has them, even Xehanort (the young guy with brown eyes) is starting to get them. the only darkness wielder who lacks them is Riku, and I could say that he has not had the darkness for a long time. When we last see his eyes, we see normal, but then we miss him for a while, next time we see him, he is wearing a blindfold, and when he takes it off, Ansem awakens.

 

Riku's eyes in KH even were 'changing' though not color, but the depth of them. When looking at Riku, his eyes were becoming brighter and more eerie as the story continued. I think he pretty well stopped it once he began using darkness neutrally instead of desperately and furiously as he was in KH, during CoM and later.

However, if his eyes were changing it would be a reason why the blindfold too, because he didn't want to see it. There's no way of really knowing though, since we never really see his eyes between when he becomes 'Ansem' and before he takes the blindfold off after being 'purified' by Kingdom Hearts.

 

Master Xehanort has YELLOW eyes... which is NOT the same as ORANGE... as for Riku, his eyes go from light blue to aqua...

 

Riku's eyes were always aquamarine or teal. They just get more brilliant, bright, as he changes and he seems to get more shadowed. His eyes were never regular light blue.

Those are both pics of him, one in KH and one in KH2 without being with Darkness.

 

The definition of 'aquamarine' is a colour in between blue and green... Riku's eyes were NOT aquamarine in KH1

 

Meh, the background interferes, and yellow, orange, I think the concept is that those coloured eyes are evil.

 

Not at the start it doesn't lol... and if yellow or orange eyes is the indicator of evil... then why do so few people have those colours? Take Sephiroth, for example... NO-ONE is EVER going to convince me he has yellow or orange eyes...

Not sure what you classify as aquamarine. Riku's eyes were darn near the color of aquamarine. Aquamarine is leaning more towards a blue than green but has green in it and is a gemstone. Teal is a bit more green than blue. To me, Riku's eyes DEFINITELY were that color which nearly matches these stones and not just a light sky blue.






Also, Christor, I hope you are right. Xehanort should be Xehanort...though which Xehanort are you talking about. Now things become hazy.

Master Xehanort quite simply CAN'T be the Xehanort we know... unless Master Xehanort possesses unfathomable powers of timeline and age alteration lol
