Kingdom Hearts II Xehanort and Riku

Ok guys now I'm really confused. They say that Xehanort spawned a heartless and a nobody because Xehanort gave his heart to darkness.

However, every time someone says that Riku should have a nobody 'cos he gave his heart to darkness, they say 'no that only happens when you lose your heart to darkness not give in your heart to it.'

Well look at that! Xehanort gave his heart to darkness and he got a heartless and a nobody. Riku ALSO gave his heart to darkness and...??????????

I just wanna know your opinion, because I'm really confused. I honestly don't think that Rik has a nobody, but after finding this out...................?

 

i think Riku didn't get a heartless or nobody because once he gave his body to the darkness Xehanort took that opportunity to steal his body, so the process wasn't complete. riku dosnt have a nobody.

That's my theory.

 

I think Xehanort gave in to the darkness... Riku just used the powers of darkness and such.
And Xehanort's heartless took over Riku's body. So he was, in a way, protected from it.

 

xehanort, made himself a heartless willingly, you know from ansems secret diaryies or something. however riku never gave his heart in. it got took over but he did not surrender so, yeh. no heartless, no nobody.

 

He never lost his heart. Way back in KH1 at Hollow Bastion, Riku's "heart" protected Kairi, Donald, and Goofy from Xehanort's Heartless. He never lost his heart, he was just either possessed or was in the form of darkness (Xehanort's Heartless).
