Kingdom Hearts II Xaldin, Saix.....

I have learnt something...
Xaldin is hard in proud mode
and
Saix is hard in any mode

Okayz.....Im stuck on Saix on my account....
And my sis is up to Xaldin...On proud mode....
He killed her...
I had a go...He killed me...
Help!!

Any tips for beating Xaldin in proud mode...Or Saix...(Standerd mode)​

Keep on fighting Xaldin so you learn his moves and know what he's going to do next. Keep on using that 'learn' reaction command. He is REALLY hard I know what you mean

Saïx just try to stay out his way as much as possible and use your drive forms- only when he's out of berserk mode. If you still can't beat him then go and level up a few levels and try again. A few levels really helps.

 

It can help a lot if you equip the abilities that are gotten by levelling up your drive forms.

Otherwise just level up as normal. If you have trouble on any boss, all you need to do is level up.

 

first get alot of eithers from xiadin. when he's getting ready for the big dragon attack use the either. then when he gets close, use knocksmash with goofy. it won't damage you, and when he come's back, he will feel your rath.

 

Let's see here...um...oh yeah.

Xaldin:

As a shortcut, make sure you have Ethers and Potions, Elixirs if possible. Another shortcut should be Reflect unless you have Aerial Dodge. Now, an easy way to start off is to use Goofy's Knocksmash Limit to get rid of a chunk of HP. Next, go up next to Xaldin, but keep about a little distance. When the Learn RC comes up, immediately, on the moment it comes up, guard. Then press Triangle as rapidly as possible to get a few Jumps and use them. Repeat and yadda. If Xaldin brings out a slow wind orb thing or whatever it is, just guard it. Soon, Xaldin should disappear, jumping extremely high in the air. Now you run, and at the right time, you jump, recommended having High Jump LV1, and get some Jumps. This should repeat for sometime. About when Xaldin has 2-3 life bars left, he'll do that barrage of lance attacks that make him invincible, yadda yadda. Guard that. During the that time, keep your distance from Xaldin from now on. Once he finishes that attack, if you survive, he'll get on his dragon saying "Sora!" then he'll do that attack where he says "Beware the face of despair" or something like that. During the time he is preparing the attack, stand still, and heal your MP if you need to. Reflect the wind attack when it is about to pass you. Now, he'll reappear on the battle field. Guard, no matter what, because he'll either just teleport around you or do that barrage of attacks again. If he teleports like he's having epileptic seizure, you can do a Learn RC, if you can guard at the right time. The recommended keyblade that should be used is the Circle of Life for its MP Haste.

 

Saix:

NOTE: Before the battle, equip all growth abilities, negative combo (if you have it) and unequip all combo pluses and air combo pluses.
Okay, this ebil person starts berzerk. if you have Aerial dodge, get the hell out of his way. if you have Glide, GOOD FOR YOU, use that. When he finishes his combo, usually telegraphed by "BEGONE!" or "MOVE ASIDE!" or "AAARRRGGGHHH!", Quick run in there, or Aerial Dodge/Glide if (like me :P) you didn't level Wisdom form. Grab the claymore and slide awya until he finishes another combo. GTF back in there and use the Reaction Command to knock him out of Berzerk. He may then say "I misjudged you" and dash through Sora if you don't get close to him before he lands. In that case, simply guard. if you get close to him, hit him with the shortest combo and Guard Break finisher you can (Finish Plus and Explosion if you want some extra damadge). If you forgot to unequip your combo lengtheners and you don't finish before he attacks, guard so that he looses his claymore. If that happens, grab it and use the RC or just combo his ***. Continue until he goes berzerk again. You should have done a nice chunk of damadge before he goes berzekr again. in fact, he may evewn start "ALL SHALL BE LOST TO YOU!" Don't try to grab a claymore. Just RUN *****, RUUUUNN!
One he finishes he'll revert to regular berzerk. Sometimes he may throw his claymore at you at the end of a combo if you're far away. If he does, guar dand you can quickly grab it. If he jumps and throws it directly down, jump over the shockwave and grba it for easy pwnage.
Folow this formula and he should die easily. hey, it's the formula I followed when I beat him on Proud at lvl 37 (I accidentally leveled up, it should've been 36)

 

Am i the only person who didnt find saix hard... i breezed right through him. Now xaldin was a toughie.

 

I can beat Xaldin without him hitting me =)

Anyway, using learn and jump is the key along with rumbling rose. But more important than them is guard and reflect. Ok when he starts and puts his wind shield he will then use either the attack where he stabs with all 6 or slashes with them. If you guard the stab run forward and hit triangle repeatedly. DON'T USE JUMP NOW.

If he uses the slash then guard that and use learn. When you get nine, use them up and use one combo on him with the keyblade. He'll either start stabbing and slashing again or start jumping. To dodge the jumps wait for a little swirl of wind to appear behind you and then jump forward (don't do anything else but jump) and after you have use learn repeatedly.

Don't use jump until he starts shooting wind balls at you and when he does hit him and combo him. Immediatly fall to the ground and guard because he will start going crazy with his spears. If you guard them repeadtedly you will survive. The he'll use his big wind attack so to block it go to the most eastern corner and use reflect to evade it.

Then he'll either do his crazy attack again or start teleporting around. If he teleports then use reflect and when he stops he should get hit and then you can use a combo on him. He may also use stab or slash so use the same strategy in the first part only he will slash more so you'll need to guard more. Repeat until defeated.


And that's my guide on how to beat Xaldin without taking any damage. I don't have one to beat Saix however.

 

You're not the only one who didnt find Saix hard. I thought he was really quite easy....on Begginer difficuly....Havent gotten up to him in Proud mode yet.

 

I never really found Saïx tough but he did beat me when I was just hyper and not conserntrating. But Xaldin annoys me! I can beat him but it took me ages to beat him on the middle mode.

 

Saix? Just steal his berserker a lot. I hardly remember that battle; one of the ones I didn't keep a save for becuase I didn't find it too challenging or entertaing.

As for Xaldin, just make sure that you have donald and goofy there to heal, and have cure in your shortcut menu. Lots of potions and elixers will do you well. Run to the gates when he does his dragon attack; he can't kill you there.

If all else fails, tell your sister her game is not your problem XD
