Hey Um, I have a question:

Okay, So I was playing Yu-Gi-Oh! WC2009 (and this same thing has happened to me more than once in the game too...)

I was Dueling against some random person in the game and he had no monsters on the field and I had a one strong monster on the field. And I was winning...It seemed like victory was inevitable for me...

But then guess what happened...My opponent activated Share The Pain! Forcing me to tribute my monster!

And I was like: What The Hell??? Isn't he supposed to have to have a monster on the field to tribute too to activate that card??? I thought that was supposed to be the cost/risk of playing that card??? Am I missing something???

But no, He played frigging Share The Pain to get rid of the monster I had on the field!!! That Cheater! I was Furious! No...This was NOT on Wi-Fi. I was only Dueling against one of the in-game CPU opponents.

Come on man...This HAS to be a glitch...

Yes, But I only use it to have access to All The Cards and to get rid of The Ban List...

I mean come on, Do you really think that I would be so bad at a Yu-Gi-Oh! videogame that I would need to cheat to beat it? ME?

Come on guys, I think you know me better than that.[IMG]

It must be some kind of glitch or game flaw...

Oh, and I have another question: Hehe I'm so glad I finally have a place and a person who can tell me what's legal and what's not![IMG]

Anyway, Since I'm now in the right place to ask this question here's my question:

What if I tried using Skill Drain on Monster Tokens? Like say the Scapegoat Sheep Tokens for example? Would that allow me to tribute them for summons?

Or...does it just not work on them period?

Monster tokens are created by other cards, and their effects don't come from themselves, but from those cards. Tokens are always treated as normal monsters, not effect monsters. they still can't be tributed.

Say, if i special summoned Grinder Golem on my opponent field and used Skill Drain, would i be able to summon more monsters that turn?

No, Grinder Golem causes a restriction, which-much like costs-aren't negated by Skill Drain.

Okay Um, I've got another question that I've been wanting to ask for awhile...

And I've been REALLY curious to know the answer to THIS one:

What if I summoned a monster that is unaffected by Trap Cards like Elemental Hero Wildheart? Could he still be destroyed by a Trap that negates the summon of a Monster like Solemn Judgment for example?

He can be destroyed by Solemn, but only because Solemn NEGATES the summon, so it's as if it never hit the field.
However, he CANT be destroyed by bottomless trap hole, because that doesn't negate the summon, it just destroys.

Kay, That was what I thought. Just double checking.[IMG] Now I know for sure![IMG] Thanks![IMG]

This brings me to another question:

Could Elemental Hero Wildheart be Special Summoned from The Graveyard by something like Call of The Haunted?

yes, you can, since E-hero Wildheart is only unaffected by trap cards while face up on the field. So not only can he be special summoned, but after he's special summoned, he's unaffected by CoTH, so if CoTH is removed from the field, E-hero Wildheart stays alive.

Another question I'm curious to ask is this:

Can Monster Cards that are unaffected by the opponent's Spell Cards like Silent Swordsman LV5 for example still attack even if the opponent has something like Swords of Revealing Light on the field?
