X-Men: The Next Generation

Hughe goes into his own room, close to Jasmine's, and starts to think of what he should play.

Then he hears the plinks of piao across the hall.

Plink, plink,.....plink,.....plink-plink.

Strum,strum.....strum,......strum-strum, rocking out the melody a bit.

Eventually, warping the melody a bit, he somehow gets "Iron man".

Not playing overly loud but loud enough to ring the song out throughout the halls, Hughe doesn't play half-bad...

Abyss first heard some loud music in the upper floors and glared into random windows. ~Oh gee, how respectful to the other teachers and students.~ he thought bitterly. Then, he thought even more bitterly ~And son of a gun, there's Wolverine, and he looks PISSED. Yep, we're in for it now.~ Abyss sighed deeply as the three stopped and turned off their bikes. "I bet I know what happens next." Abyss said with a hint of expectation.

 

Bender hung his head and shoved his hands in his pockets, as was formal when he was around anybody but most teachers and his friends. Leaning back a bit, he used his telekinesis to kick the stand on his bike down so it wouldn't fall when he leaned on it. He counted the seconds it would take before Wolverine stopped eying them all like he was choosing who to kill first. He'd go for Zephyr last, probably, because Zephyr was about as strong as Wolverine and a lot faster. And the leader of groups always got chewed out the worst. Instead of hearing the usual berating, Bender was surprised when Wolverine said "Good, just in time. Come with me, you have a new mission." Bender looked up, amazed. They had just got back from their other mission!

 

Zephyr wasn't surprised at this sudden reaction, though he wished he was berated more than having to go on a new mission already. He rolled his eyes at the thought of having to find Scott(the dude with laser eyes)even though Scott was quite obviously dead. Instead, Wolverine's assignment was "I have a feeling this new mission of yours will be harder than the last, and three of you definatelly won't be able to go through it with no trouble, so I'm assigning you three some new teammates. Keep in mind, you'll have to track them down yourself and tell them they're heading on a mission with you." Zephyr grimaced at the names. He could handle harsh weather with no form of protection for two years on end, so why did he have to make new teammates to help him with his mission? It was stupid, and he thought of just ripping the thing to shreds right in front of Wolverine, just to piss him off. But then he remembered the other teachers could just as easily see him do that little feat by looking out the windows. Zephyr silently obliged and put the list in his pocket. ~Great,~ he thought unhappily, ~I'm pared with two useful people and five other completely useless ******s. How joyous.~

 

Abyss nodded then looked up, placing his hands on his hips. "Hello, my name is Abyss. I'm sure you've heard of me, I just got back from a mission. Please don't mind the blood on my outfit. By the way, you just got assigned to a mission with me! How UN-fortunate you are. Oh yeah, that'll work PERFECTLY." Abyss said, shaking his head as he brushed past Wolverine and set off to his task.

 

Bender nodded and ran off to do his work. The first person he was to find was a person by the name of Jasmine... Bender realized something. ~Isn't Jasmine physically blind? And doesn't she control water and other stuff like that? Huh boy, Zephyr's going to be pissed when he finds out who everybody is." Bender laughed as he dashed inside the academy, nearly knocking Abyss over.

 

Zephyr looked at his list, then said directly to Wolverine "You have got to be shitting me. I have to be paired up with these weak little *******s for a mission?" Then, putting the list away again, Zephyr jumped into the air and landed on the roof of the academy, then ran off.

OOC: By the way, to whoever mentioned they can do Wolverine, thanks, I'll let you take it from there.

 

Abyss read a name from the list. He sighed and looked towards the sky. "Nero. Why, WHY did Wolverine have to give me a list with Nero's name on it? I can't stand the guy. Oh well, I'll just leave him a note with directions. Oh, yeah, I have to find out which room is his. Ugh. Hopefully Zephyr'll get there first so I won't have to do it." Abyss walked down the hallway, quite aware of people staring at him and talking about him to themselves and their friends.

 

Jasmine stopped playing and thought. She then walked out of her room and walked outside.

 

Zephyr walked into the mansion with a sour look on his face, glaring at the people who were talking about him. He wished everybody would just shut up so he could think of where to find everybody, but then it would be too easy. So, he just glared at them until they stopped talking about him. As he walked down the hallway, he felt the sudden need to strangle Abyss because of what he said outside. Zephyr was pissed that Abyss was always so casual, never got angry, never got sad, never happy... it just made Zephyr want to beat the crap out of him with a brick. Zephyr growled and continued walking down the hall, brushing past Nero along the way. Zephyr stopped and looked at the list. Yep, Nero was on it. Zephyr whipped around and shouted, "Nero! I need to have a word with you, and no flaking out on it either! Wolverine's assigned you to my team for our next mission, so hurry up and get your damn suit on." Zephyr turned back around and continued stalking down the hallway like nothing happened. Zephyr knew that he was going to get a response, but he hoped it wouldn't be from Nero, the other person he just wanted to kill.

 

OOC: he was in his room,but whatever...

"...With you?..I'd rather jump off a cliff..''Nero muttered,he didnt even turn around to face Zephyr,he just answered his call,to him it was being polite."..whatever..I'll be there..''he shouted,and began walking back to his room to get his black suit.But was also wondering WHY THE HELL did he have to be paired up with that a**hole!?

 

Bender suddenly saw Jasmine and used his telekinesis to get her attention by picking up a rock, then dropping it a few inches in front of her. He made sure to drop it loudly so she heard the thud, even though he was well enough aware of her hearing. "Jasmine! Hey, Jasmine! This is important so listen up! I haven't got much time. Wolverine's just assigned you to my team for a new mission, and we need to get going now. So, uh, better be putting your suit on." Bender then ran off, hoping the millions of questions wouldn't be asked.

 

Abyss walked through a wall into the kitchen, looked around, then saw the fridge. Abyss sighed. "Ah what the hell, I haven't eaten since yesterday." Abyss walked over to the fridge and pulled out a soda. "Not that I need to eat as of yet." He said, coolly aware that he just stole one of Zephyr's many sodas. He sat down at the table, made his chair scoot out so he could put his feet up, then popped the top off the soda and took a long swig. It was at that moment that somebody slapped him on the back. Hard.

 

Hughe stops playing and decides to go down for another danger room session.

OOC: Anybody with me?

 

Zephyr glared evilly at Abyss. "Put the damn soda back... NOW." Then, without so much as a glance at Abyss, Zephyr waked outside.

OOC: Zephyr might join Hughe. In a few seconds, though.

 

Jasmine stopped in her tracks and turned around and sighed. "Fine" she said and sighed and went to her room to change. A few minutes later, she came out with her suit on and walked away from her room.

 

Zephyr heard Abyss grumbling and coughing at the same time and laughed. Then, with his temptation overwhelming him, he decided to go train.

 

Abyss grumbled as he put the soda back in the fridge. He decided to go find the rest of the people on the list. Looking at the list, he saw that two names had been checked off and a third one was being pursued by Zephyr. Shrugging, Abyss put the list away and stalked back towards his bike, brushing past Zephyr as he did so.

 

Jasmine walked around then sat down outside, waiting for someone to breif her on the misson. Honestly, I don't really want to go. she thought and sighed. But oh well.

 

Abyss walked over to his bike and saw Jasmine sitting there. "Morning." He said before starting up his bike and waiting.
