There is another movie of x-men going to be released in 2009. It tells the story of wolverine and it is the prequel of the x-men trilogy.

There's also a sequel to this movie in the works that's been green lighted.

    Don't ask me how.

They should have just done this instead of The Last Stand.

This is all you need to know about Wolverine.

    1. He's a manwhore.
    2. He over uses the word 'bub'.
    3. He has an aversion to shaving.
    4. Oh and the adamantium skeleton too.

lulz. I watched the whole trilogy in class for A media assignment. We were talking about Heroes and stuff. Anyways, I guess its better when your teacher pauses it every 5 minutes to explain the stuff.

It wasn't bad, but I think the first one was the best.

Anyways, wasn't it supposed to be Magneto's bio movie first???

The magneto film is still going to made.
It's said to be released in 2009.
And the movie seems pretty cool.

Flashbacks are going to take place in the movie.

I think I'd like to see the Magneto movie before the Wolverine one. But then again the Magneto movie has the grounds to be really depressing and angst filled.

    ...

    I'm in!

I just wanna see if it shows him in Weapon X. That way I can see Silver Fox and Sabertooth and hopefully possibly a cameo from Deadpool (though I doubt this).

Anyway the Magneto film should be good as well, as it takes place during world War II.

A few items you forgot to mention:

-His real name is James Howlett, but he took on the name "Logan" as to forget his past.
-Other known aliases include: Weapon Ten, Death, Mutate #9601, Jim Logan, Patch, Emilio Garra, Weapon Chi, Weapon X, Experiment X, Agent Ten, Canada, Wildboy, Peter Richards, and Mai' keth.
-His claws first manifested when he saw his father brutally murdered in front of him. His berserker nature was unleashed, killing the man who murdered his father and slashed the face of an extremely jealous rival. His mother committed suicide shortly afterwards.
-In the comics, most of his life had been wiped from his memory due to the Weapon X project. He regained these memories a few years ago after a reality shift called the "House of M."
-His mutant power is his healing factor, NOT the claws. The claws are a mutation, but it can't be negated.
-His skeleton was not originally adamantium. The claws he uses were originally made of bone, but the Weapon X project artificially grafted the adamantium to his skeleton.
-Although he has a healing factor, he is NOT immortal. As long as a cell of his DNA still exists, he can reform his body...kinda like Cell in DBZ.
-Every time he "dies", he usually must fight for his right to live against the Angel of Death.
-Due to his healing factor, it is nearly impossible to become intoxicated from drinking alcohol.
-He is more than a century old.
-The only weapon that can kill him is a sword called the "Masamune." He's used it to kill Sabretooth. The sword was given to Cyclops for safe-keeping in case Logan ever goes berserk.
-When unsheathing his claws, he must keep his wrists straight. When they are unsheathed, the claws are fully within his hands, and thus he can still bend his wrists.
-Due to the healing factor, the adamantium in his body doesn't interfere with his bones' normal functions of generating blood corpuscles.
-Due to his extensive training as a soldier, a C.I.A operative, a samurai, a spy and a member of the X-Men, he has mastered virtually every fighting style on Earth.
-He's fluent in many languages, including Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Cheyenne, Lakota, Spanish, French, Thai and Vietnamese.
-He's currently residing with the New Avengers including Dr. Strange, Spider-Man (yeah, Spidey's a teammate), Luke Cage, Ronin (the formerly dead Hawkeye), and Echo (a deaf woman who has the same fighting style as Daredevil).
-Other groups that he's been on: Fantastic Four, Secret Defenders, Clan Yashida, Department H, The Flight, Department K, Team X, Weapon X, Devil's Brigade, Canadian Army.
-His first appearance was a cameo in "Incredible Hulk Vol. 2 #180." His first full appearance was in "Incredible Hulk Vol. 2 #181." Both of those comics were from 1974.

Yeah, I know that's a lot of info, but I figured the people that are interested would like to know what he's been up to. :D

I was going for humor. And the points I mentioned were mainly about movie-verse Logan.

Except for over-use of the word 'bub'. That's cartoon/comic verse.
