Wrter's Block is Pure Evil!

I got bad case of writer's block. I'm trying to write my fanfiction and I don't know how to get from point A to point B. The inspiration isn't coming as fast I wish. Any of you get writer's block for your fanfictions?

 

All the time, but that maybe because i suck at english.

 

Definitely.

I have a nasty habit of not completing fics I start. The last major hiatus I had was 3 years. Then I wrote another 500 words, then scrapped the project altogether.

 

Oh yeah... X.x; I'm going through one right now.

Whatever you do, don't try to break through it - that just makes it worse. Ride it out, and when the inspiration comes... It comes. ^-^

 

Nowadays I make myself break through it, quite forcefully might I add.

Waiting it out turned into years. XD In my opinion, waiting can be a good thing, but when it starts getting really prolonged, you kinda gotta get in there and try forcing those gears to turn. With enough luck, you may reach a point where it starts flowing well again.

i've been on Writers block for over at least two to three months! and IT SUCKS!!!

First, try and clear your thoughts, then focus, start with the plot, and try and find yourself to the end.

it works perfectly if you're in a nice quiet place so you can hear yourself think

EDIT:And only slight sometimes when it comes to smaller details of the story

and I had writers block on Vexen's Eperiment Roxas's suffering for 2 weeks...XD

Writer's block usually means death for me, due to the fact that I'm actually trying to get a book published.

Me too. It's been a pet progect for years.

 

Thanks for the advice, guys! I'll try to take heed to them. I can't wait it out though. I don't have time.
