Later that night, Akari again approached the subject of Hiroaki’s work, and, true to his word, Hiroaki told her straight up. “So, you know how there’s one master scientist at the castle where I work, right?” He asked. “Yes…” Akari answered. “And you know that I study under him along with three other scientists on my level?” Akari answered “Yes.” “And the four of us train apprentices of our own.” Akari waited for Hiroaki to speak but he paused, thinking. “Go on,” she prompted. So Hiroaki continued. “My apprentice is only a little kid,” He said. “He’s a very good learner, twice as smart as most his age. He always does exactly what I tell him to do, exactly when I tell him to do it. He never knew his family, he’s always lived at the castle, and he looks up to me like a father.” Hiroaki smiled. “He imitates everything I do. He follows me around the castle just waiting for a command he can obey. Some of my colleagues call him my little shadow.” Akari knew he was driving at something, but what? “I don’t see what you’re getting at,” she said. “Well,” He paused again before continuing. “He said something the other day. About something he had seen while I was away. He said that he saw one of my colleagues taking a stranger armed for battle into a forbidden section of the castle, and later coming out with her apprentice, carrying the stranger’s weapon. He said that as they walked by, she said ‘…defeated all the experiments I’ve brought you. You are almost strong enough.’ Now, this colleague of mine… I’ve felt for a long time that something was wrong, but this confirmed my suspicions. My apprentice doesn’t understand the gravity of what he saw. He was simply telling his master all that had happened in his absence, and I am glad he was not discovered. If she had known that he was in that corridor, I don’t know what she might have done to prevent his telling me. I told my apprentice to try and stay away from that area of the castle in the future. I can’t risk him seeing her there again. He might guess at her motives and try to confront her, and he is no match for her strength and skill in a fight.” Hiroaki paused for a final time, and then said. “So now you know what had me down today. I was thinking about my apprentice. You happy?” He looked up at Akari and smiled. Akari looked back at him and said “I want to go to the castle with you tomorrow.” Hiroaki’s smile was replaced with a look of surprise. “… What?” he said. Akari was being stubborn, and anyone who knew her knew that when she was stubborn there was no going against her. “I want to go to the castle with you tomorrow,” she repeated. “I want to see where you work and meet your apprentice and your colleagues- at least, the ones that are not… suspicious. I want to go to the castle with you tomorrow.” Hiroaki still looked doubtful, so Akari said “Hiroaki, you know that I’ll come anyway, whether you tell me I can or not.” Hiroaki thought for a moment and said “All right… you can come. It’s about time you see what I do anyway.” “Great!” Akari was excited but Hiroaki said “Wait. You have to promise that you won’t go wandering around the castle alone, and you won’t go with anyone unless I tell you that they’re all right. Promise?” Akari didn’t even have to hesitate before she said “Okay, I promise!”

The next day dawned bright and clear over twilight town, and the morning train was already boarding when Hiroaki and Akari arrived at the station. They purchased their tickets and were just about to get on when it happened. “Hiroaki, what’s wrong?” Akari’s blue eyes were filled with confusion. “What?” said Hiroaki. “Do I have something on my face?” “Yes,” Akari answered. “You’re crying.” Hiroaki reached up his hand and wiped a tear from his cheek. He looked at his hand and he said “Well, that’s weird.” Then he looked at Akari and his eyes filled with concern. “Akari,” he said quietly. “You’re crying, too.” Startled, Akari also put her hand up to her face and drew it back, wet. More confused then ever, She looked up at her brother as if expecting an explanation, but he was deep in thought. After a moment, the conductor yelled out “ALL ABOARD!” “Hiroaki…” Akari’s voice was low, and serious. “Hiroaki, I don’t think we’ll ever come back here.” Hiroaki looked at her and said “You know, I was thinking the same thing.” The conductor then came to shut the train doors, so they climbed in and took their seats, looking out the window for a last glance at the town that was their home.

When the train stopped at their destination, Akari had almost forgotten the feeling of departure, especially as she looked at the town they were in. “Welcome,” said Hiroaki, “to Radiant Gardens.” and as Akari looked around, she could see why it was so named. The town was beautiful, with even the lowliest of buildings made of white stone, so the morning sun shone off the walls and gave the appearance of pureness to the whole town. There were gardens along each side of the road, and the green color made the place cool and refreshing. But perhaps the most extraordinary thing of all was the light. Little pieces of light were lazily drifting to the ground like leaves, glimmering and shining in a thousand different colors. Akari was purely enchanted. “The castle’s this way.” Hiroaki’s voice brought her back down to reality as he led the way to the center of town. They walked along in silence, Him in front and her following behind, marveling at the scenery around her. “Someone’s being unusually quiet,” Hiroaki said after a while. “Cat got your tongue?” “No,” Akari responded as she reached out her hand and caught one of the lights. It sparkled above her palm and she could feel the warmth radiate from deep inside it. “I’ve just never seen anything more beautiful.” Hiroaki turned and smiled. “You should try to catch one,” he said. Akari looked at him, confused. She was holding one in her hand, wasn’t she? Hiroaki laughed, as of he had read her thoughts. “You’ve got it’s attention, but there’s only one way to truly catch them.” He looked around, and seeing one he liked, reached out his hand and let it land. Then, closing his eyes, he made a fist around it and it suddenly shone forth with a bright pulse, and opening his hand, he held out a white jewel, shining like a star. “Now you try,” he said. Akari closed her fingers around the light, and shut her eyes. Nothing happened. “Please let me catch it,” she thought. But when she opened her eyes, it was still there, floating in her hand. “I can’t do it.” The light flickered and floated away, and Hiroaki smiled. “Don’t worry, little sister,” he said. “It’s not an easy thing to do. Only the ones with complete control over their hearts can do it. Master Yasahiro showed me how. He’s the only other person I know who can catch one. Here.” He closed his eyes again and a chain appeared on one end of the jewel, making it a necklace. He tossed it to her and as she looked at it, he said “Keep it. I already have three.” With that, he turned and continued walking, while Akari slipped the chain over her neck and began to follow.

When they arrived at the castle, Akari couldn’t help but stare at the building towering above her. It was ornate, it was big, and it was confusing. Platforms were moving around the building without the assistance of cables or cords, and there were balconies jutting out from all sides, with doors all over the place. The door to which they were walking was obviously the main entrance. Not only was it the biggest and grandest of all the doors seen, but it was guarded by two men. One of them stopped Hiroaki and asked “Master Hiroaki, is she with you?” “Yes.” replied Hiroaki. “This is my sister, Akari. I am taking her here as a visitor.” The two men looked at one another. “Very well,” the first man said. “You can’t be too careful. Master Raiden, good morning.” Akari turned around and saw another man around the same age as Hiroaki walking up to the door. “Morning,” He said to the guards. He then turned to Hiroaki and said “Hiroaki, who’s this?” The man had red hair and laughing eyes. “Not a new recruit, I hope.” Hiroaki laughed. “Don’t worry,” he said. “You can sit around like a log a little longer.” Hiroaki proudly put his hand on Akari’s shoulder. “This is my sister, Akari. Akari, this is, Raiden. He’s the only one of my colleagues that doesn’t have an apprentice.” Raiden yawned and said “Leaves extra time for studying.” They entered the castle as Hiroaki said “Yeah, studying breaks, and food, and sleep.” Akari laughed, and Raiden, pretended to be offended said “As if! I do more work then you and Tadahiro put together!” “If that were a true statement,” said a man in the foyer, “This castle would soon fall under disrepairs.” The man had a sarcastic sort of air around him, like everything was a joke, and right now, Raiden was the biggest one. “I’ll have you know,” (here turning to Akari), “The only reason Raiden is still employed here at the castle is because he promised to keep away from Master Yasahiro’s daughter in exchange for a steady job.” Raiden turned red and sputtered “What!?! That’s not- I…” but seeing the smile on the other man’s face, he joined in the laughter. Once things calmed a little, the man turned to Akari and said “Anyway, I’m Tadahiro. And you are?” He held his hand out to her as she said “My name’s Akari. I’m Hiroaki’s little sister.” They shook hands and Tadahiro said “It’s nice to meet you, Akari, although I had hoped that Hiroaki would bring another apprentice rather then a visitor. Unless, of course,” He then turned to Hiroaki. “You would like to have her trained…” “Sorry, Tada,” said Raiden. “I already talked her out of it. You know me, always looking out for number one.” “I assume you are talking about Master Yasahiro,” said a woman entering the room. “Because if you are referring to yourself as ‘number one’ then you are as conceited as you are lazy.” The woman walked up to Akari and said “Hello, you must be Hiroaki’s little sister.” She looked from Akari to Hiroaki and back and continued. “Yes, you have the same features. My name is Rae; I am one of the four masters working under Master Yasahiro.” Akari looked over at Hiroaki and noticed as he shook his head ever so slightly. Was this, then the one he had mentioned? “I’m Akari,” She said. “And yes, you are right, I’m Hiroaki’s sister.” “It’s a pleasure to meet you,” said Rae. “Visitors are a rare treat in this castle.” Just then a boy about Akari’s age entered the room. “Master Hiroaki,” he said. “Sorry to interrupt, but Master Yasahiro would like to speak to you alone.” Hiroaki looked at him and said “Thank you, Mitsuaki.” He then turned to Akari and said “I guess you can’t come with me, but you can’t go wandering around the castle…” Rae stepped forward and said “I can look after her, Hiroaki. I could show her around the castle until you return.” “No, thank you,” Hiroaki interrupted. “I’m sure you are very busy. Tadahiro, how’s your schedule?” Tadahiro turned to Hiroaki. “Very full, I’m afraid. I’m sorry, Hiroaki…” He looked at the door, where the boy who had brought the message still stood. Looking back at Hiroaki, Tadahiro spoke. “Mitsuaki doesn’t have any tasks to do today. Mitsuaki, could you come here, please?” The boy came forward. He had dark blond hair and light blue eyes, and as he walked up to Tadahiro, he smiled at Akari, a nice smile that showed a fun-loving spirit. “Yes, Master Tadahiro?” Tadahiro turned to Akari and said “Mitsuaki, this is Akari, Master Hiroaki’s sister. Akari, this is my apprentice, Mitsuaki.” He turned back to Mitsuaki and instructed him. “I’d like you to show Akari around the castle while her brother speaks to Master Yasahiro. Is that all right, Hiroaki?” Hiroaki didn’t seem to like this arrangement very much, but he bottled his displeasure and said “I guess that would work out all right.” “Very well,” said Rae. She nonchalantly turned away, as if she couldn’t care one way or another. “as you say, Hiroaki, I am a busy woman. It was a pleasure meeting you,” she said to Akari. “I feel like I will see you again.” With that, she turned and left. Tadahiro and Hiroaki looked at each other, a conversation without words. Tadahiro then turned towards them. “Mitsuaki,” He said. “You know the forbidden places of the castle and I trust that you can show Akari the castle without straying too near those places.” Mitsuaki bowed his head. “Yes, Master,” He said. “Well,” Tadahiro turned again to Hiroaki. “There is an area of town that begs my immediate study. Farewell.” Tadahiro then left. Hiroaki still looked displeased, and said to Akari, “You be careful, all right?” “Of course,” she laughed. “I’m a big girl now, Hiroaki. I can handle myself.” Hiroaki didn’t look convinced. “Raiden,” he said. “Can’t you…” “Sorry,” Raiden interrupted. “But I’m not a babysitter. I’ve been investigating a little something and I can’t have a couple kids tagging along. Besides, Master Yasahiro is waiting for you, ‘member?” Hiroaki shrugged. “Well,” he said. “It was worth a shot.” And he left. Raiden waited until he was out of earshot and then laughed. “Did you see his face?” He said. “You two better not hit it off too well, or he’s gonna blow his top! Typical Hiroaki, though, trying to push you off on me.” Raiden walked toward a door in the back and turned to face them once more. “Well, you two kids go have fun, and hey,” He said. “Try to keep your job.” Then with a wink and a smile, he was gone, leaving them alone.

This is the library,” said Mitsuaki, and what a library it was! The room had a high ceiling, with a deep green carpet on the floor, and marble pillars rising to the ceiling. There was a maze of bookshelves, bookshelves made of polished wood, unpainted and unspoiled, and filled with books on all subjects. A big glass window in the back of the room filled the whole room with the light from the sun outside, giving an air of peace and warmth. “We’re supposed to study here during our free time and when our masters are busy elsewhere.” Mitsuaki led the way to the back of the room, where a lovely curved staircase went to a second floor. Looking up, Akari could see more bookcases, and another boy. He also was about fifteen, but he was nothing like Mitsuaki. With dark clothes and even darker hair, He seemed out of place among the shelves in the well-lit library. He was rummaging through the books, and, finding the one he wanted, proceeded to read. But then he seemed to feel Akari’s eyes on him, and looked up at her. A slight chill went up her spine. There was something about him that made her go cold, though what it was, she couldn’t tell. Smiling, he put his book back on the shelf and jumped down over the balcony, landing right in front of her. “What have we here,” he said. “Did Mitsuaki finally find himself a little girlfriend?” The boy smiled at her, a cruel smile, full of pride and cold indifference. Akari thought she saw Mitsuaki clench his fists beside her, but she couldn’t move a muscle. The boy was inches in front of her, and she wanted to draw back, but something in his eyes held her to her place. He looked at her, he looked right into her, as if he was reading her very thoughts, and he smiled triumphantly at the obvious fear in her eyes as Mitsuaki pulled her away. “Although I, for one,” he said, “don’t know what you might see in him.” He laughed at his joke and continued. “I am Cyphus, I train with Master Rae.” He didn’t ask her name, nor did he seem to want to know, so Akari didn’t tell him. “I am surprised Mitsuaki here didn’t warn you about me. Mitsuaki doesn’t particularly like me anymore, I’m afraid.” Here he looked toward Mitsuaki, still smiling cruelly. “A feud brought upon by my one-upping him in a match once.” Mitsuaki, with his hand still on her arm, said calmly “That has nothing to do with it, Cyphus.” Cyphus laughed again and said “See how red he gets, Girl? I must have hit a nail on the head with that one, you think?” Mitsuaki continued. “I don’t like you, Cyphus, because you aren’t half as great as you think you are and you’re twice as stuck up as you used to be.” This statement didn’t seem to have any effect on Cyphus, who laughed a third time and said “A little jealous, aren’t we, Mitsuaki?” He turned his back on them and continued. “It’s not nice to call people names, especially,” he added, “If it makes a liar out of you.” Then, with one last laugh, he left through the door that they had entered by. Mitsuaki released his hold on her arm, and Akari could feel the warmth coming back to her and with it, gratitude at Mitsuaki for getting her away. “What’s his problem?” she asked. Mitsuaki was still looking at the door Cyphus had exited through, and his face was grim. “Cyphus,” he said, “Is under the impression that there isn’t anyone or anything that can beat him, and as a result, he looks down on everyone and everything. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a pretty strong fighter, but when he’s not fighting, he’s strutting around like he owns the place. Not to mention,” he added. “He’s always lurking around in the forbidden corridors and dark places of the castle. You know there’s something wrong with someone who enjoys hiding in shadows and darkness.” Akari remembered the way Cyphus had smiled at them, and personally agreed with Mitsuaki. “Anyway,” he said. “Shall we move on?” Akari turned back to him “Sure,” she replied. “Let’s go.” They went up the staircase and through a door that led to the most unusual room Akari had ever seen. The floor was a balcony overlooking a circular room, and she could see more balconies of the same type as the one they were standing on. There were no walls along the edge of the balcony, but she put her hand out and felt a sort of energy shield that would prevent one from falling. The only door accessible to that landing was the one they had entered by, and Akari didn’t see why they had come here at all. But then Mitsuaki put his hand on something that looked like a giant crystal, and a caged platform came down to them from nowhere, and in a flash, they were in the cage. Akari looked up in amazement, but there was no sign of how they had been moved, nor were there any cords or cables lifting the elevator. Rather, the cage seemed to be held by some sort of visible force, possibly of the same sort as that of the wall along the balcony. They came to another balcony and again were transported to the other side of the force wall, and, going through another door, were outside. They were on a stone platform, almost as wide as the foyer, and overlooking the town. The view was breathtaking. The sun was behind them, and the town was shining like the white jewel around her neck. The wind gently blew her hair out of her face and Akari felt the last traces of fear fall away like the lights softly falling around them. “Beautiful, isn’t it?” asked Mitsuaki. “I like to come here at night and watch the lights fall. It calms me down after I’ve been talking to Cyphus.” He paused. “Actually, I come out here every time I’ve been talking to Cyphus, no matter what time of day it is.” Mitsuaki looked down at the town beneath them. “He didn’t used to be like that.” he said. “A year ago, you wouldn’t have known he was capable of what he does now.” Akari thought back on something Cyphus had said. “What did he mean,” She asked, “When he said he beat you in a match?” Mitsuaki scoffed. “He caught me unaware and unarmed on my way to the library. I wouldn’t really call that a victory, but who knows what goes on in a big head like Cyphus?” Besides,” He turned to Akari and shrugged. “He can think what he wants. It makes no difference to me whether or not he beat me once. Let him keep his conceit. They say pride comes before the fall, and they also say the bigger they are, the harder they fall.” Mitsuaki went back to watching the town, and Akari joined him. “Well,” she said after a while. “He’s going to be in for a rude awakening when he hits the ground.” Mitsuaki laughed, and Akari joined in. So there they stood, overlooking the town and laughing away, now friends.

    Part seven
Yasahiro was an elderly man who had dedicated his life to the study of the world around him. He was the governor of Radiant Gardens, and the trainer of four pupils, all of whom aspired to one day take his place when he stepped down. He knew all of his pupils weaknesses and strengths, he knew of their dreams and hopes, and all their fighting styles. He also knew the hearts of his four pupils, and who he would like to see in his stead. “Master Yasahiro, you wanted to see me?” Yasahiro looked up from his study. “Ah, yes,” he said. “Come on in, Hiroaki.” He got up from his desk as Hiroaki entered. “Have a seat,” he offered. “And, Hiroaki, please close the door.” After the door had been closed and Hiroaki had seated himself, Yasahiro began to speak. “Hiroaki,” he asked. “Have you ever in your studies come across any information about a Keyblade?” There was a short pause as Hiroaki searched his memory. “No, sir,” he finally decided. “I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a… a Keyblade?” Yasahiro didn’t doubt his word; Hiroaki had always been honest with him. “I didn’t think you would,” he said. “It all happened so long ago that no one would remember it, and any chronicles of the event are yet to be found,” Yasahiro explained. “I learned of it from my master, Master Shina, who learned of it from his master, who learned of it from his master, and so on. The story goes that once, a scientist of great power and intellect delved deep into the secrets and mysteries of the heart and discovered the keyblade, a weapon of great power, born of the light in a strong heart, or in some cases, the darkness. It gives strength to the wielder, and the wielder strength to it. Each learns from the other until both are strong, and a special bond is formed. Each keyblade only has one master, but if a master is particularly strong, he might attain more than one keyblade. Anyway, I digress. This first Master also discovered that every heart, even the strongest lights, are born of darkness. He realized that no matter what he did, he could never make his darkness go away, and so, he turned to the darkness inside him. He embraced it, and, therefore, was consumed by it. His madness almost destroyed the world, and it surely would have if not for his four pupils. The battle was fierce. No matter how hard they fought, they could not free their master from the darkness. Finally, one of his pupils struck him down, losing his own heart in the process.” Yasahiro turned away, and looked out the window to the town beyond. “It was here, in this town that it happened. This town is an ancient city, built on top of a more ancient and grand city, one that was destroyed that day by the darkness. But although those four heroes delayed the darkness, the seed was still sown. They knew that slowly and surely, the darkness would spread, eventually causing the world to collapse. The three that remained rebuilt the town and sealed the darkness away somewhere in this castle, knowing that if they did not, someone would rise up and attempt to control it, assuring the destruction of the world.” Yasahiro turned back to Hiroaki. “As an extra precaution, they went separate ways; to raise pupils of their own in the art of keyblade wielding so that if, one day, the darkness should be released, there would be some prepared to fight it.” Yasahiro then summoned his own keyblade, a swift blade made of shards of crystal with a silver handle. “This,” he said. “Is TruerStrike, and I am its master.” He held it up as if to fight, and said “Try and awaken yours, Hiroaki.” Hiroaki gasped, caught off guard. “What!?!” he said. “I…” “You are ready,” Yasahiro interrupted him. “It’s just like the lights outside. Simply believe with your heart, and it will find you.” Hiroaki closed his eyes, and, after a few moments, he held out his hand, and as he grasped the air, he felt his hand close upon a handle, made of metal but hot to the touch. Opening his eyes, he saw a keyblade, alike to and yet very different from that of his Master. His master’s blade was crystal, with a handle made of silver, but Hiroaki’s was solid gold, and his prongs were shaped like fire. Yasahiro smiled. “Good,” he said. “Now, defend yourself.” With that, he attacked, and Hiroaki felt his blade move with almost no assistance from him. Blocking every strike, and even striking back, Hiroaki didn’t even have to try. “This is easy,” he said. Yasahiro laughed. “Fighting is not the hard part,” he said. “The difficulties lie in trying to control it. Although this weapon submits to your hold, it has a will of its own. You must teach it to only attack those you wish to attack, and even then, you must be careful that it does not end up controlling you. That’s enough for now.” Yasahiro put away his Keyblade and continued. “You are the first of my apprentices that I trust with this knowledge, passed down from master to apprentice for hundreds of years. Those three pupils decided that to keep the world safe, the Keyblade should remain a secret from the general public, and only a few trusted individuals strong of heart should be told. You are now strong enough.” Yasahiro looked up at Hiroaki, who was smiling. “However,” he said. “That was not the only reason I called you here. It has come to my attention that Master Rae has been performing unapproved experiments in the forbidden parts of the castle, and I fear for her and her young apprentice.” Hiroaki stopped smiling, his face now grim. “Her experiments are very dangerous, and she must be stopped. If she is not stopped, Not only will she be destroyed, but the World itself will again start to collapse. I do not know how far along in her progress she is, but I will find out tonight. If she is farther along then I expect, I might not be able to stop her. If that happens, I charge you with the care of the city and with stopping Rae. You will not be able to stop her alone. If I do not succeed, you must help the other pupils of this castle find their Keyblades. They will be able to help you. The power of Keyblade can be given from a master to another. It is better to let a Keyblade find you, but a transfer works as well.” “But Master,” Hiroaki interrupted. “You will stop her. You can’t fail!” Yasahiro laughed quietly. “Hiroaki,” he said gently. “I am old, and not as agile as I was when I was made Master. Rae is young, and very strong. She has poured herself into her studies and has by far increased in strength and knowledge. She knows all my techniques, there is not a defensive move I have not taught her and taught her to overcome. If I cannot reason with her, If we turn to battle, I will not come out the victor. You, however, have all that she has and more. You have Heart. A good, strong Heart that will not be broken easily. Keep your heart strong, keep from discouragement, and it will not fail you. Make your heart stronger, fill it with power, and victory will be achieved. Most importantly, do not underestimate the power of Darkness. It is not simply a weak tool used by the less of heart. It is a powerful weapon, and, if used correctly, very deadly. But Light always overcomes. If you had a small box full of Darkness and opened it, the Dark would not flood the entire room. Rather, the box would be filled with light. In the same way, while darkness can seem to swallow you whole, do not fear. Light is always waiting, right behind the door.” Yasahiro stopped, and took a good look at his pupil. Yes, should he fail at his coming task he would be leaving the city in exceptional hands. He only hoped that Rae could be reasoned with.

So now I am also writing the other prequal I mentioned earlier. My sister had the idea, but She was writing something else and she can't write two stories at once like I can. ;D So she gave me all rights to it and I have two Keyblades designed and I have part of the plot all layed out. I named THIS one Kingdom Hearts: Reveal because it is when the Keyblade is first revealed. My other one is named Kingdom Hearts: The Forgotten Chapters because one of the characters finds an old old old hidden book about the Keyblade. The Keyblade has been kept a secret since my other prequal, which takes place about a thousand years before The Forgotten Chapters.

Back in the library, Cyphus had returned to the bookshelf he had been searching through earlier, but instead of finding his book, he stood for a moment, looking intently at the top row. He noticed something that he hadn’t before seen. On the top row was a set of books, all a deep green, numbering from one to seven. Six, however, was missing. In its place was a book with a deep blue binding, a color very similar to the others, so that the difference was not easily spotted. Cyphus reached up and took the book down, feeling, as he did so a most curious sense of urgency and intrigue he could not explain. The book was titled Encyclopedia of Living Things, and under the title, in smaller letters, Volume three. Now where did this belong, he wondered. Turning around, Cyphus began to roam the shelves, looking for the set. He found it on a bookshelf on the first floor, with volume three replaced with a red book. He switched them out and looked at the cover of this new volume, a certain Facts of the Waters; A Guide to Undersea Exploration and the Things You’ll Find, Volume One. So Cyphus searched for another book set. This one was harder to find, but finally he spotted it on the bottom shelf of a bookcase in the far corner of the room on the second floor. This one had volume one replaced with the sixth volume of the first set, the deep green. Cyphus felt not a little let down. Was that it, he wondered? A wild goose chase just so he could return the books to their proper order? Frustrated, he almost didn’t bother switching them, but then thought he might as well. So he took the green one and left the red in its place. Returning to his starting place, Cyphus put the book where it belonged, intending to return to his reading. No sooner had the book been returned, however, when a low rumbling sound made Cyphus turn. One of the marble pillars encased in the wall had begun to turn itself. When it had completed it’s turn, Cyphus saw a small hollowed area in the marble, containing a single book, this one much bigger than the others, with a binding that looked as if it were solid gold. He walked over and picked it up. On the front, in gold lettering to match the binding, were the words: The Complete Research Of Master Ichiro; Or, Keyblade. Sufficiently mystified, Cyphus sat down at the nearby desk and began to read.

Secret Report # 12 by Master Rae

It appears as if I have been, to say the least, careless in my studies. They were to be of the upmost secrecy, yet I am almost positive that my coworkers are suspicious at most. Master Hiroaki, in example, brought his younger sister to the castle today, for reasons unknown. He was called away to a private meeting with The Master, and when I offered to show the girl around, my offer was most rudely declined. He gave no reasons, of course. But the suspicion in his eyes was obvious. And Master Tadahiro as well. He offered to let his apprentice play tour guide for the girl. As if I would have experimented with the girl, anyway! Firstly, she would be a great deal harder to be disposed of, as she has family. I never work with those who would be greatly missed. And second, she does not even have the right type of heart.I study those with fears, with weaknesses. To a girl like Akari, a being with no reason to be afraid of failure, the exercise would be fruitless. On that note, I have decided to branch out a little in my experiment. Before this point, I have been bringing strong fighters into the castle, and having them fight my apprentice, Cyphus, always making sure to bring fighters that he can easily defeat. My hypothesis; that a heart, being the spirit and soul of a being, is powerful in a way never before imagined. That a heart, if under the proper circumstances, can be made to lose all hope, and that the being in possession of the heart will therefore try to rid himself of life. In all my tests thus far, my hypothesis has been proven correct. But now the question arises: What if a heart that is completely puffed out with arrogance and conceit, a heart that genuinely believes it is unbeatable, is beaten? Would the shock of defeat compel the proud being to destroy himself as quickly as the despairing one? Tonight, I shall find out. I have secured a fighter of upmost skill, able to defeat my apprentice fairly easily. Cyphus is the best one for this test. He has won so many fixed battles that he most likely believes that he could even defeat me. He already has made it clear that he thinks himself to be in the same class as me. What will happen when he is beat, brutally even, tonight? I shall have to wait and see.

Hi there, I'm a new member of the Writer's Corner n.n.

I write alot these days. I'm at my best when I'm writing poems (in a rap-like form) and raps. I also tried to write a story but kinda found myself in a writer's block after a while xD.
All of my work can be found on the forum here :)

Oh, it's the story of my life. Whenever I decide to do something or join something, it usually dies out really fast.
