I loved that movie. It was pretty funny when the little girl backed up on Ralph. XD I laughed so hard during the whole thing.

I have yet to see it. But it looks really good!

And, on a personal note, This movie also annoys me... My real name is Ralph so the number of people walking up to me saying, "Your gonna wreck it" has been kinda painstaking.

    You have to see it!

And sorry to hear that people are annoying you by saying that all the time. Btw, you're gonna wreck it!

The last videogame movie I saw was Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and sorry to say, I didn't like it, so I hope this is better when I actually see it.

Wreck-It Ralph is coming out on home media on March 5.

Scott Pilgrim isn't a video game movie: it's a comic book movie with homages and styles reminiscent of a video game. It's also aimed at quite a different audience than Wreck-It Ralph, with a more romance-centric plot, covered-up swearing, innuendos out the window (heheh), gay characters, and more.

Well, yea obviously not the same audience, I still thought it was still very much like a videogame parody.

They're really different is what I'm trying to get across. You might really like Wreck-It Ralph, while not liking Scott Pilgrim (have a friend who's the same way)

I didn't say they were exactly similar(because they are not) I was just saying they are slightly similar.

Yeah, but they didn't adapt that one well. When a six volume comic goes into a >two hour movie, a lot gets left out. They did pretty good, but Scott Pilgrim will never be one of my favorite movies.

Wreck It Ralph on the other hand, was pretty damn good. It had a solid storyline, plot twists that fit into the plot, and enough cameos to make the gamers squeal for joy without actually centering the movie around those characters, which was very nice. Enough movies have been made about video games which then butcher the characters, but if they're minor characters, you get more of a sense that they fit into the story.

Nope. You were saying they were both video game movies. Scott Pilgrim has homages to games but is not a video game movie. Wreck It Ralph is a video game movie.

That is basically the same in my books. The references are pretty noticeable, but I am getting bored of explaining this so, I arrest my case.
