I've never been a fan of the 3D Mario adventure games. I don't deny they're probably amazing for what they're trying to accomplish, but just none of the Mario adventure games since 64 have caught my attention enough to want to buy them. I played Super Mario 64 aimlessly for about 5 minutes at a birthday party and just wasn't all that fond of the new platforming style.

My heart for Mario still belongs in the NES era with the Mario bros 1 and 3. XD

The only Wii Mario game as of now that I'd consider trying out is Super Paper Mario for the Wii. I hear the script is gold. XD

This is seriously an amazing game. I absolutely loved it. In fact I'm not done with it yet. It doesn't beat Ocarina of Time but it's still amazing. This was everything Sunshine was supposed to be.

How many third-party Nintendo games have done exceptionally well? Not many (if any).
