Would you have someone who was gay as a freind?

It's a question that is debatable among most people our age (I'm 13) and alot of people are picked on becuz of this wich in my oppinion is wrong and alot of people don't even want to talk about it. so anyway would you? i would becuz there still a perfson no matter what.:D

 

i think i have a gay freind. he hangs out with all my freinds (which r girls) and he talks like a girl. mainly like Raven Simone (if u watch "That's So Raven" [which he watches] then u noe how he talks). but hes still a freind. there 1 person in my freind group who hates him but hes still a freind to the others and me. but it does get creepy since he told us that he waxes O.o

To Nikkster94: A guy can be girlish or have girlfriends without being gay ya know, it'd only be considered gay he were truly in love with someone of the same gender...

Which I find to be horribly messed up and freaky, so my answer to that question would be 'No'...

 

I'm a heterosexual guy, but I have a few gay friends. Since I went to a Performing Arts Academy during high school, the % of gay men was a lot higher than what you'd find in normal high schools where I live, so I've been around quite a lot of gay men and women.

They're actually quite fun to hang out with and really funny. It's so much funnier to see a gay man b*tch than a female. XD. They're so cruel.

 

Well I HAVE gay friends - several at that. I honestly don't see what the problem let alone the difference is, they're still human and damnstraight normal people (...whatever 'normal' really means) that we can talk with. It's not like they're aliens or anything! Nothing changes other than their sexuality. And then again, we have nothing to do with that! It's not our goshdarn business!

 

i see nothing wrong with having gay friends. they are still people.
Although i personally think it is wrong to be gay but that is their choice.

 

I think it's just plain rude when people are afraid of other people because they're gay. I'd only be afraid of a gay person if they were a perv, and I'd be afraid of a straight person if they were a perv too.

 

I've had a gay friend all my life and one of my friends at college is gay, but reallt this shouldn't of been asked, I know I'm just a Bi but still, this is cutting gays and Bi down, asking this is like saying we're not allowed friends

I see no problem in hanging out with homosexuals.
I've heard of some people who won't hang out with homosexuals simply because they fear they will fall in love or something, which is dumb:p
I can be friends with boys and lesbians without having to worry about them falling for me, it's not like you love every single person of your sex if you're gay.

 

i really hate people who bully others. my friend that is gay was being bullied by these wee punks (they were like 12, 13), they were doin' nasty stuff to him. But he couldn't stand up to them, he's just too kind, so i had to go deal with them. then my big bro & some other friends got word of it & that was the last we saw of those punks.

Edit: i've actually had a friend come up to me n' say that she liked me. It was a little awkward, but i still talked to her.

 

at least 50 of my friends that is girls are lesbian or bisexual!

 

My friends are my friends regardless of whether they are gay or straight. I don't judge by age, sexual orientation or dress. My friends are just great people.

well i asked my friends in school the same question and they said no wich kinda made me feel bad becuz if some was to come to my school who was gay they would probably make fun of them. (oh and i don't mean to offend anyone!:D i hope i don't get banned........)

 

that seems to be what a lot of people actually think. The things I've heard are that they believe gays are:
-sex-fixated freaks
-degraded humans, not nearly as valuable to the society like the rest of the people
-morons who does not know any better ( some guy actually told me to stop being gay for the better of our community)
-and of course this one guy who diluted himself with the thoughts of gays being hate-mongers, here to spread diseases and to contaminate the world... O_o

There are alot of stereotypes like that,wich i hate! they make me sick! but i think i have 2 gay friends but i kno for sure i have one!:D AND HE IS COOL!

 

ure friends is just afraid to get raped in the azz... but u can say to them that the chance of u geting raped of a homosexual is equal to the chance that u gonna rape a girl! remember that!
