Be Married at a 99c Store? Cheap Weddings [Weddings cost 99c. Takes all the romance out of it doncha think?]
I dunno, I do think people spend far too much money on weddings these days and that they're completely over-hyped, but I think that getting a cheap one in front of the local ninety-nine cents store is a bit extreme. I think having a nice party and ceremony for it is a nice idea. But hey, we are in a recession lol.
No, never. Never ever. NEVER. I think marriage is a very imporant part of life/love. A wedding day should be like no other day in one's life, IMO. Special, romantic, magical, beautiful. Not "lol i gotted married @ a store". What the hell? D: If I was getting married to the man I really love, I could wait until we came into some money for that day, I don't care how broke I am. B|
No. Marriage is a very important thing, and while I agree that sometimes it seems people spend way beyond their means for a wedding, I would never agree to get married at Dollar Tree. That's just, well...cheap.
ooh this is the silliest question ever lol the answer for everyone should be no unless its a prank. though it is sooooper funny! :D
Because obviously the romance in a relationship is directly proportionate to the amount of doe dough you've pumped in the wedding. EDIT: Fixed. Thanks, Treasoner. :p
Who the hell brings a female deer to a wedding? lol But good point. However, I don't think I'd have a 99 cent wedding. I just don't see a point in it. Might as well just go to Vegas and get eloped Call me old-fashioned but a wedding is a pretty big thing
Whoever's getting married at the dollar store, cuz everything costs a buck. I'll go run and hide now.
no ......weddings are special and need to be done properly , not just because you want more money to spend l8r...
Weddings are supposed to be more of a big deal than just $.99 and BAM you have a life-long partner. That's not to say anyone should spend a fortune though. Just enough to make it nice, romantic, significant, respectful, and that's gonna take more than a dollar.
As far as I'm concerned the wedding is just the official "we're legally together" ceremony. I wouldn't have a wedding infront of a store, but I wouldn't spend what most couples do either. I'll settle for a happy average wedding if the time comes. Everyone knows the fun is all in the honeymoon, anyway ;3
If short-sightedness was a form of art then this post should be hung in the Louvre. Relationships are supposed to be special regardless of the situations. Hell, the whole wedding charade literally includes a vow to support eachother "in sickness and in health". The magnitude of the farce is not supposed to have any impact if you really care for eachother. /cheesyness
