Would you change it?

In my life a lot of bad things have happened to me, and no that isn't just teenage girl over dramatic exageration :p but a friend asked me the other day whether I would change anything if it was possible to go back. I realised that although there have been things that have hurt me, if I went back in time and changed them I wouldn't be the person I am today, in some ways I think I'm stronger for the things that have done damage.

My question is, if YOU could go back into YOUR past would you change anything? Would you do things different?

 

Yep, I'd go back to 2002 and stop myself from falling off the slide I broke my arm on

 

Yeah if could go back & i would change somethings. I'm not really proud of somethings that i've done, it's nothin' serious but i think i could've done things a lot better. The things that i'm not too proud of hasn't really affected how i am but i'm sure it would have been better for others.

 

I would go back in time and freak out my brother... just kidding...

But how do you know that things wouldn't be worse if you changed the past? There are things Ive done which I am not proud of but maybe things like that have to hapen so that we can develop?

 

There isn't anything big I could change, except maybe leaving my old group of friends sooner. Though their are little changes, like during my driving test maybe not doing the things that caused me to fail. XD Really I would change little things, maybe a time that really wish I didn't do.

 

there have been many times when ive wanted to go back and change like everything, but then ive thought would i have all my friends? would i still be me? would i actually be any happier or would other things happen? its like in a game when you have to reload an old save, you try to redo everything as you had done but then maybe you forget something and it completely changes

basically, there are a few things id change, but id be too scared of losing what i have now, even some of the bad things have lead to good things (>< hard to explain)

Well, things have made me stronger but if I could go back in Time I'd probably prevent the terriost attacks, I'm not really helping myself, I'd be helping others, i don't want me to change, I'm fine just the way I am.

 

I would change nothing after all things in life happen because thry were uspposed to and if you really think about it bad things can cause a good life...and if yall want me to give philisophicale phrases fell free to aks i like doing it:D just look at my the phrase under this message

My one regret in life is that I don't really iceskate anymore. Sounds pathetic, I know, but I started when I was 4 and was really, REALLY good (and modest, too ;) ) But I'm content with my life as it is now, and it would have been COMPLETELY different if I continued skating. I do sometimes wonder about it, though.....

 

You can always get back into it though! I used to love iceskating but then I stopped, until a few years ago when I restarted it! Trust me you get back into it easily :D

My only regret in life is my lack of any known work ethic. It's not really something I can change by going back in time, I can change it over the course of my life, and it'll make me a better person because of it. I would never change something in my past bcause then I would not be who I am today. I'm proud of who I am, what I am, how I act, how I think, and everything else. And when I think about it, if I changed anything, I would be someone completely different, and because of this, I might lose myself, and this pride that I care for so much. I would not trade this happiness and confidence to change my life, so that my life would be "better".

And as a sidenote, I dislike looking backwards. The past is just that...passed. It's gone and cannot be changed. And wether or not it could be, changing the past would lead to no present, and therefore no future. No true future anyway. Instead of looking back, we should always look forward. Planning ahead, and yet living for today, staying in the present with eyes towards the sky, we can only go up from here. That is the way to live, that is the way I intend to live my life. I can only hope that the past has prepared me for it, wether the events that have taken place are good or bad.

 

Butterfly Effect

The same thing would happen like in the butterfly effect. if you change one wrong right another wrong would just fill its place. you will than wish you would be able to go back and change it again...and so on and so forth.

 

Yes. I would go back six years and stop my younger self from stealing from school. That would be a burden off my chest. ;)

 

No. I don't think I would change anything. If I did I might still be in public school and not at home-school and with horses. :D and my pets too.

 

I wouldn't break a school computer... or make the teacher think i did (I just unplugged the power cable and the principal was yelling at me for an hour....)

 

Yes... only with some things that I am embarrassed about...
I have done some stupid things..... Nothing bad, but >.> embarrassing stuff...
